ASSEMBLY ON BIKE TSV

I was interested in the TSV bike but noticed they discuss hour after hour after hour of everything else EXCEPT HOW IT'S ASSEMBLED. I called CS but rep had no info other than "some assembly required."

If it's too difficult to assemble I will pass on purchase.

Rachel said it takes 30 to 40 minutes on average to assemble. That was a pass for me.

I always double that time. We ordered a fire pit and estimated time to assemble was 1 hour. It took us 2.

I, too, was seriously thinking about buying this bike, especially with free S&H. I was curious about how difficult it would be to assemble it. So, I checked out the manual...there are SIXTEEN parts to assemble!!! That was a definite NO for me!

this bike is available on Amazon for $229.00 plus free shipping and some good reviews. there are a lot of comments about easy assembly. take a look if you are interested. i purchased a different one and had no issue putting it together. the only extra purchases i needed were a lucite tray to hold my tablet and a seat cushion. hope this helps.

We got one of these when it was a TSV last year. My son who is in the seventh grade assembled it in less than an hour. He did need an extra pair of hands at one point.

The kid doesn’t seem to be able to master the lawn mower, the dish washer, or a toilet brush so it can’t be too hard.

@mamadee777 I've been down this road before with ordering equipment from QVC, hearing during the presentations it's a snap to put it together. Then, found it not to be true, and the hassle of the return process.

Are there any various tension adjustments on the pedals?

I like everything about this TSV, and have been wondering if there are various tension levels re: the pedalling.

The knob on the lower top is the tension that makes the pedals easier or harder to use. It says Tension Control right on it. (Our bike is blue so our knob is blue). Just dial it to what works for you. I usually start on 1 and then go to 2 but I am almost 69 years old so that may be too easy for most. Dial to the left to go pedal harder and the right to pedal easier.

I bought one for my husband when it was the TSV before this and it only took about 20 minutes to put together. I use sometimes also and we both like it very much. It definitely will get your heart rate up and it scans for calories etc as you do so.

Ah, the dreaded "assembly required". I no longer buy things needing assembled. When I lived closer to my brother he'd help me. I actually bought the Origami shelving for my garage bc it says no assembly required and I was skeptical and happy that it truly was no assembly required (and I don't have use of my right arm). At some point I'm gonna need another one.

Funny thing - - bought it at Amazon and it's one of the products they say they will send someone to come and assemble for you for something like $120 - - it unfolds and you clamp it down just like on TV. I'm 63, no strength and it was outta the box, pulled apart and up in less than 5 minutes (even counting screwing on the wheels).
