Oct TSVs

Here we are in the start of October, not much to say about the tsvs for this month. I didn't see any chats about the Creede tsvs. Anybody buy any of the chains yesterday?

I also checked out the ones noted so far for this month and perhaps no one is talking about any of them because well, certainly not much at all to even want to look at or buy. They're not showing the 2 pr of boots in line for this month so we can't see what they look like. One is by skechers the other by clarks.

Wonder how the selling power went for yesterday's Creede shows. I didn't buy anything although I did early on look at everything offered. A lot of necklaces for sure were there this time, cute/nice ones but I have a lot already and don't need any other ones. What did you buy if anything? Curious minds would like to know.

I kinda was looking for a cute pair of earrings. Not to dangley but just petite but gave up after every time I turned on QVC they were showing the TSV. I just turned it off and looked online somewhere else.

@Meowingkitty Over all nothing grabbed me sadly. In many years past I'd have scooped up A LOT of stuff from both 24hr all day silver shows. I'd be glued to the tv watching and really enjoying them but no longer.

I ordered the adjustable bracelet, companion to the TSV.

I don't have any adjustable bracelets, thought it might be a good time to try one.

I really don't need anything but many years ago I bought the 100 inch sterling necklace and I've enjoyed it.

I'm more of a bracelet or ring person. I like to see my jewelry.

I also purchased Tova's diamonique elephant earrings.

I'm kind of MEH about the TSVs this month.

The Clarks boots are cute and I know they will be comfortable but not sure I'm ok with the price for something all man-made--no leather.

I may have to get the makeup bags. The one with the drawstring. Get 1 for my daughter, who is a makeup junkie and 1 for me!

I did buy the Kitchenaid oven. Really happy with it so far. I like that it turns off when the timer clicks off. I will never burn the rolls again!

I just checked out the October TSV's yesterday. I couldn't believe what duds they almost all are. I couldn't get the Clarks boots to pull up with a photo so I'm not sure what they look like.

Besides the fact that so many of them are duds, there are a lot of repeats meaning they did the same thing or similar last year. The Dennis Basso throw seems to be a yearly recurring TSV, the same for the Skechers. And how many more open front Cuddle Dud wraps can there be?

The Isaac cashmere v-neck looks like a nice basic but I don't think the price is any bargain. With all the sales that will be coming up, I'm quite sure I can find a 2-ply cashmere v-neck for cheaper than $130.00.

Last night i was watching The List and they did a presale of 2 upcoming fashion/intimates and they didn't interest me either. The Camuto shoes were awful IMO and I'm not a big fan of Rhonda Shear stuff, especially her pinup udies.

Then today there is a TTV on Evine that I think is blech too and prior to showing that, they showed a complete mess of a Try Me plaid top. The plaids didn't match up anywhere.

What is going on? LOL

Agreed the TSV's are getting boring (yawn)......I have no interest in the overpriced hair dryer today either. I did , however purchase one of the 36 inch silver necklaces yesterday. Not that I need another necklace but I don't have one that long so I thought it would be nice for the winter to wear with turtlenecks and sweaters.

I ordered the Sketchers boots in mauve, shipped 3 days ago.... I love the Sketchers product and love fur lined anythings. We'll see, I ordered against my better judgment as I've said I'd never order any shoes again.....

I also don't have any interest in the hair dryer, or anything Dyson for that matter. I've purchased one vacuum years ago and no thanks. (Not from QVC) Broke right after the warranty was up, company would do nothing. I had it repaired for another $170 ($500 Animal).... and it broke again same repair one year later.... Dyson never, ever again....

@LipstickdivaRhonda Shear is a nightmare. A couple of years ago she was insisting that she wore a medium - seriously? That makes it really tough to figure out what size you should order. The pinup undies legs travel up every single time from the minute you put them on. Extremely uncomfortable. Add to that the darker colors were not colorfast. UGH. I won't return worn undies and now have them still - I have to get it together and just throw them out.

I bought a pair of Skechers boots last year from TJMaxx and I wore them walking all day long in NYC for several days and never had aching feet.

@aggravated, well you answered a question I had about those RS pin-up undies. I wondered about the legs. I mean wouldn't they move when you put clothing over them? I know RS and the hosts always say to shop your top with her bras too but I've ordered her bras before and I had to go up 2 sizes from my top size. Otherwise I was smashed down and had uniboob.

I bought a set of the pin up undies, and wore them all summer. They were cool,comfortable and never rode up. I was on the cusp with sizing so I went to the bigger size..maybe that is the trick? I would definitely order again. Also, I have had no issues with the colors in the wash. They wash beautifully.

OK, I do not have an air fryer...for those of you that have them, are they really worth it or will it sit under my cabinet collecting dust? I did see prior reviews that the non stick coating was a huge problem.

YOUR OPINIONS WOULD BE GREAT BEFORE I DUMP 89.00.

@Lipstickdiva The bras were a no go with me. I could hardly get them on shopping my size. Those I did return. Sheilaray apparently has had great luck with everything.

I don't get the difference between air frying stuff and baking it in the oven.

If I ever do french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, I put them on a cookie sheet and bake them in the oven. They turn out perfectly fine.

These air fryers seem like just another gadget that no one will bother with in a short amount of time. Remember those rotisseries that were all the rage years ago? Now you never hear a thing about them. LOL

I ordered the "Love You More" necklace in silver. This is a saying me & my 8 year old son say to each other every night. He says "I love you", I say "I love you more" and he says "I love you more than that". This necklace will have me thinking of him even more when I'm wearing it while at work and he's at school.

An air fryer is a mini convection oven.

The fan does make the difference

I do not own an air fryer but I do own a convection oven.

I have a convection oven as well.

I'm thinking of those vertical rotisseries. Is that what you have? The unit was round and tall and you hung vertically in them.

@Lipstickdiva As for cashmere sweaters, I ws just at my local Marshall's who loves to sell cashmere this time of year for A LOT less, 2ply, styles you don't see and colors that just jump right out of the rainbow in gorgeous pallettes. If I were to buy cashmere which I love, I buy there.

Throws - I love a good throw but it MUST be at least 50x70 otherwise it's pretty useless. My throws need to cover me nicely (and I'm not a big person at 5'4"). FOr as big a guy as DB you'd think his would be a really nice size but they're not.

I think Rhonda's lingerie items are quite lovely and in fact a while back I chose to try her bras but the cups are pre-formed and no padding in the ones I chose. So no more on her items.

Plaids not matching is just nightmare-ish! Makes me blind just looking at it.
