I have a collection of shawls, and shawl like garments in every color. I did watch the presentation and decided not to even bother. Don't need it in the first place. The vendor did say they had made improvements but did not say what. I guess they did not want to GO THERE.

I have this in black and love it and have not experienced the pilling but maybe because it's black, it's harder to see? I ordered the rouge. Just had to try another even though I dont really need...

I bought two of them and they are warm, soft and beautiful. The vendor said you should wash them in cold water and hang to dry or dry on low heat. Maybe the customers were not following the washing directions. I have had no problems.

Hard to believe there have been over 100,000 of these sold since midnight! Lots of pilling will be going on.

@bonnielu In an earlier presentation I watched, the vendor said they treated the fabric to make it last longer. That is their improvement I guess.

This is is the worst fabric. It pills up and don't put it in the dryer at all. I received this last year as a gift and the fabric looks terrible now.

I am not buying the TSV but I have 3 of the Poncho's and have had no issues with pilling. I love the hooded ponchos more then the TSV. I have not tried the pants to match yet.

@SilleeMee So funny! I heard her say that. I bet she cost sales by saying that. It attracts lint and hair. You have to use the tape rolls to take the lint off.

With my long haired cat around, I'd probably look like one too after a couple days wearing that thing!

I bought this in black last year and never had any problem with pilling.

I wash it in the gentle cycle in cold water and then just run the air fluff cycle for 30 minutes to get rid of any possible wrinkles and then hang to dry. I also use Woolite for dark colors. Not sure if I will be buying a second one this time, but I am tempted to get another color. With 80 - 85 degrees expected over the next couple of days, not sure if I even need another one

What I see that type of fabric, I see static cling, static shock, everything in the dryer sticking to it like velcro. I am not a fan of any fabric that is plushy and that can shock the hound dog out of you when you wear it.

@SilleeMee, wow ... that 5 star review or comment makes me want to buy one ... then I can have my family's pets (hair/fur) with me all of the time and never have to miss them.

Sometimes a host doesn't really think before making their comment ... they just talk so that they can hear their own voice.

I passed on this TSV because of the "drape" front, which is not flattering on me. Now, I'm glad I did, reading about others reviews & thoughts on this wrap. Thanks!

I am sooooo tired of the draped front anythings.... I think it's kinda cute with the hood but can't stand that I wouldn't be able to button at least one or two buttons..... but now, hearing about the material.... nah, wouldn't wear it.

I was thinking about getting the leggings but went on here to look for reviews because I suspected they would attract lint and the fabric might not be durable. Honestly it seems like any type of fleece item will attract lint and pet hair and get gross looking over time.

But I am still looking for warm leggings or "base layers" for the winter that are durable and won't get gross looking within months. Does anyone have any recommendations?

If you wash gentle and hang or dry on low there is no piling or static and material is just like new! Many of the materials used in clothing will not look well after washing if you put in the dryer on high or even mediem for that matter.

I canceled everything I ordered after I read the reviews. I know all fabric will pill to some extent, but something like CD that will be laundered frequently will be one mass of pills in no time.
