Tracfone TSV and landline transfer?

I would like to transfer my landline to the TSV tracfone. Is that possible? Has any one done this? Thank you in advance.

I would get a new number from Tracfone. Sometimes a transfer does not work, and you can not get your landline number back.

There is a section marked FAQs under the TSV item. It does state that you CANNOT transfer your landline phone number.
