Anyone getting the Ninja T.S. Blender?

Anyone thinking of purchasing the 4/27/2016 Today's Special Value Personal Ninja Blender With Smooth Boost?

If anyone already purchased it before, and is really satisfied with it now? If yes please reply, and thanks in advance.

Also wondering if someone who has a Vita Mix multi machine, would need this as well....I personally think not, but that is my personal thought.

I have the vitamix and I do like it. I had another version of the Ninja it lasted me several years before it burnt out. Even after I got the vitamix I would use my Ninja I really like it because I could use the small portable smoothie size cups. With my Vitamix it seemed always to make more than a single serving size. Both of these machines are good. For larger jobs and hot soups the Vitamix is best. If you plan to make mostly smoothies or your even considering another popular "Nutri"brand definitely go with Nutri Ninja TSV instead. A similar model to the TSV is rated in a popular consumer magazine as overall good. The other "Nutri" brand is not recommend very well and and people complain of leaks. This price is good for the TSV and is nice to get free shipping. I am getting this one for work so I can make smoothies there. I am a teacher and I am thinking of making smoothies for an end of the year celebration. When the school year ends I will take it home for smaller portioned size treats for my daughter and I. I ordered the teal but am not sure if it is bright enough I might change it to the blue.

I have a Vitamix and a previous Ninja TSV. I use the Ninja for smaller recipes. Both work very well. I don't really need another with all those cups to just add to clutter. I have to laugh at the presentations though. Why not show this WITH the Vitamix instead of the other off the shelf blender side by side? I for one don't need another Ninja.

Can ice be used in this Ninja? Have not seen him use ice in both of the presentations I have watched.

Hi @Kindaglitzy This is from the manual for the Ninja: TSV Ice to Snow
Crushing Ice to Snow is easy – take ice cubes directly from your freezer, and put in a dry Ninja® Cup – use the pulse

I have the Vitamix, so there's no need for another blender, especially one that's made in China. :-)

I greatly appreciated all of them.

I will be getting the Ninja as it should make processing drinks quickly as well as other small tasks.

As for the Vita Mix I had my original Vita Mix Multifunction machine for over 20+ years, and gave it away to a dear young lady, who I really love.

She visits often, and loves to water bath, atmospheric steam bath, and pressure steam can with me.

She always admired my original Vita Mix, when I used it to help with canning and processing foods to be canned, so I wrapped it up and gave it to her.

"She was beyond thrilled, so grateful, and it still works for her with no problems whatsoever".

It truly is a great muti appliance, and from my 20+ years of VIta Mix consumer experience, I highly recommend it.

I was happy to purchase a new Vita Mix and use it daily.

I especially love my Vita Mix for entertaining and making drinks, especially my Pina Colada s and Marguaritas.

Great for sorbets, ice cream, and let's not forget thick delicious chocolate malts.......or the numerous hot soups, hot sauces and other recipes one can easily whip up......and the crushed ice feature is great too.

I can say my original Vita Mix I gave away still works like a dream.

I just hope my new version Vita Mix performs expertly, and lasts long too.

I recently bought a Ninja Blender (900 watts) for making smoothies but it doesn't make them very smooth or creamy. After several times pulsing, it still comes out kind of choppy. I hope this one does as the presentations show otherwise it goes back.
