C. Wonder? Really? Nah.

In the promo Q has been running for C Wonder, the little guy says his brand "allows women to" etc etc. Really. He's gonna ALLOW women, is he? Not this one. When I see that promo, I turn off the channel and switch from the Q mobile site to something else. And today he has a TSV? I'm off the Q all day ... except to stop here to say why.

Aren't there any women in mgmt roles at Q anymore? Not one who could have noticed that the wording in that promo is insulting and offensive, and a throwback that's not fun at all? I'll bet the women who don't mind, also don't realize they are being paid less than every guy with the same job. Anyway. Battle scars, and I'm not the only one!

He is not using "allow" in such a narrow way. Context is everything and he only had a few seconds. There is probably no one on this planet LESS likely to disrespect women (especially his own mom) than Brad Goreski.

This is a great new line at the Q. I am happy to see and purchase it.

I think the c wonder line is horrible. You can buy the same thing at steinmart, if one is near you, for less.

It is matronly, not up to date, and certainly not bohemian. Please, send tory birch's husband's line to the trash. How could qvc endorse this line???????

Amohio, You only have three posts and if I didn't know better, I would think your post was designed to stir people up and get them to respond to you. There is word for that but you already know the word. I am a feminist but something like that ad doesn't rock my boat. There are real ssues that you could talk about but this board doesn't allow anything controversial or political.

Chris Burch sold the company to Xcel Brands which owns Ripka, Mizrahi, etc. With Brad Goreski as creative director it plans to go in a bit different direction - one not fueled by revenge. It probably would have been good to lose the "C" but I wish Brad luck.

I hope the leading poster is kidding. I think Brad is adorable and I love the Cwonder line of clothing. I just can't afford most of them. I wish his company success. Pleas omohio get a life. Get upset about something that really matters.

I cannot respond to what he said in the ad as I have not heard it. I can say yes I know women get paid less for doing the same job as men. Same goes for health care. Men get better health care then women & I'm sick of it. Example men can go to the doctor & get viagra. Women go for their hormones & it's oh well too bad so sad.

I don't find anything offensive in the promo or in the vendor. Rather cute clothes, but nothing world shaking.

What I do find offensive is all the defensiveness and PC around today. One can't make a statement without some person jumping on them and yelling Insult! Insult! Sheesh!

Lori's attitude is a bit annoying because i don't know any woman who hasn't been confidently playing with clothes forever! And--just my personal style view--her clothes are a mess. Sad, droopy, and ill fitting. But I know QVC sells a ton if the stuff. Go figure....

C.Wonder is very overpriced for what it is. I had to return several pieces. This line is not high end just over priced inexpensive clothing.
