It depends on what you want to track. I have the Zip, clip it to my bra all the time, and it measures steps, distance, and calories. Keep in mind, it's only a guideline, as you are not required to measure your stride or enter your weight. It's fine for my needs, and they cost about $50-60.

I didn't want to wear a wristband, but can see where people like the Flex, as it also monitors the quality of your sleep (again, just a guideline), and the newer versions measure heartrate and all kinds of things. Of course, they are more costly (the Surge is $250!!!) and are getting bigger all the time.

A friend has the Flex, and if she forgets to take it off while she's playing the piano, it makes it look like she was a lot more active than she really is.

I've had other pedometers before, but having the Zip is really motivating! I like to look at how many steps I've done, and if I'm just a few hundred short of my daily goal, or want to round up to the next 1000 steps, I'll go out and walk around the block. I love the dashboard and the 'boots' you can earn. I did not have that experience with other pedometers. As soon as the day's activity was done, I never thought about it again. Getting the weekly e-mail reports from Fitbit helps me know when I'm OK or if I need to pick up the pace to keep my averages up and continue to reach my goals. I absolutely recommend it.

No. The InsideQ magazine comes out in a few days and that's when people usually know more. Check the Blue Skies for Me blog next week. She usually posts the TSV items from InsideQ.

I am interested in this TSV but need larger sizes for my wrists....very aggravating because I lose out on many jewelry TS/TSV bracelets due to my large wrists. I know they make these for men so I would think they will come in larger sizes. I tried googling fitbits to research them but most that I found only fit up to 7.9.

I did notice one of the hosts wearing the fitbit already so I hope it's a good deal cuz I'm ready for one to keep me active and healthy.

I've been wondering this for a while and hope one of you can help me: does it mainly measure walking/footsteps instead of another cardio activity like biking? That's the one thing I need to know to make up my mind as I had a lot of weight loss buddies using them when we were losing weight on My Fitness Pal, but I can't walk very long due to nerve damage in one leg. I have a recumbent bike and would love my activity to count (have a heart monitor that hooks into the bike as well, dunno if that would work with the fitbit or not). Thanks in advance and just in case the answer's known!

I was trying to post the link but no luck. F11930 ... $109.95 plus $8.97 shipping. Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity and Sleep tracker with Fit Star App only good for 3 months then you must renew but I haven't read the whole description yet. I thought shipping was either $3 or $5 and now on a small TSV, it's almost $9.00.

Is this a good deal?

It's the fit bit charge. But the price doesn't seem very good when you add in 8.97 for shipping. It winds up to be about what it costs at the store that begins with an "a."

You save a few dollars on this deal compared to Costco member's price. But for me it wouldn't be enough in savings to compensate for the fact that you have to wait for it to be shipped, you can't see it in person first, and if you have any problems not sure where you go. With Costco you can always return to them.

I know not everyone is close to a Costco but I used it as an example. I wish the TSVs had better deals.

I really wanted to order this Fitbit but it doesn't seem like a great deal. The only good thing about it is it's on easy pays.

I might cash in on some of my "points" at my bank and get Best Buy gift cards and it will be free for me. I'm thinking of getting the Fitbit HR and wish QVC was having that one as the TSV.

I'd like to have different bracelets as well but I know that is extra anywhere.

HSN had a Garmin as a TS a few months ago and that came with extra bracelets.

But I will watch the presentations tomorrow and decide but I'm pretty sure I will pass on this TSV and go out on my own. I'm just trying to figure out if I will get use out of this device no matter which one I decide on.
