Graver Shows

I have been a QVC customer for over 20 years. I have tried many times to watch a Susan Graver show; especially like today when she has a TSV. I can't seem to watch due to the fact that she constantly talks, speaks over the hosts and although she might be excited, is too much to handle. After a few minutes I can't watch any more. In a positive, constructive criticism type of way, some QVC Exec. Needs to speak with her about this. This customer is totally turned off & I tune out! Anyone else feel the same?

I'm not a fan of SG and have only a couple of her items but whenever I do see her, I mute the TV. She doesn't give any useful info anyway so just watch the presentation if you're interested and go to the computer for specifics.

I don't watch her either but I have to say that I think todays SV is very pretty; but the price is way too much especially with no easy pay. For me, even with reduce s/h it will be $50. I don't need to pay that much for one item anymore.

In answer to your question, no, I do not feel as you do. Today's collection was very pretty, and as I watch the snow pile up and as I recover from total hip replacement, the fabrics in spring colors and the hope that winter will actually end, helped to buoy my spirits. Great time to review my seasonal wardrobe.

May optimism reign.

I knew there had to be others that feel the same way. I get that she's enthusiastic about her clothing but you're right. She constantly talks when the host is explaining colors, etc. Please, some one at QVC, tell her to simmer down.

The upside of the I-Hate-SG posts ... my ignore user list grows and grows!

I hate to repeat but want to chime in about the non-stop talking. Please stop her. I really can't take more then a few minutes and it's hurting her business. Like most I""m sure she's a lovely lady but this is so over the top. I have bought some of her clothes and have been about 50% happy with them. Some are wonderful while others are cheap and ill fitting. Over all she would sell me more if she didn't drool over her clothes and talk constantly.

I also enjoy watching Susan. I like that she is enthusiastic and enjoy hearing her talk.

I enjoy SG and her presentations. I never get the complaints. I just don't watch a vendor or host if they bother me so. It's very easy to shop on line and many of the products even have videos which can be easily muted.

Why don't you mute it? You can still watch without listening!

I love Susan's shows and her enthusiasm. Yes, sometimes she gets overly excited and speaks over the host, but I'm not perfect either.

I think as soon as customers stop buying from Susan, she will change. Right now, I can't imagine why she would. She's already their top-selling clothing designer. How much more would she sell if she acted differently?

I don't know the answer to my own question. I do know there are some designers I've never bought, never will buy and it wouldn't matter how they acted on air. I live with what I buy, not with the designer.

I really like Susan and her clothes. I have always wondered why they don't let her host her own shows - alone. The host can't get a word in edge wise and I like to hear Susan describe the clothes anyway. All the host is really doing is giving us colors and availability. Susan could easily do that if they put a receiver in her ear. Susan could definitely stand on her own! The Q should give it a try - problem solved!!

PLEASE MAKE THEM ALL QUIT SCREAMING! Susan, Lisa R. and Kirsten had a triple win, and Pat was a close second this morning. Don't happen to be sitting at the TV, so turning the sound off isn't an option. I guess changing channels will have to be the default.

I enjoy Susan and I have purchased many of her items. Too bad there aren't more happy people in the world like her!

I agree with the OP, but I don't watch any of the shows long enough to get annoyed. I only want to see the items, so I flip back and forth. I saw today's TSV this morning, and didn't care for it.

I missed her shows! Honestly, I was starting to wonder if she was calling it quits since she wasn't having any TSV's, wasn't on-air as much...she has had a very successful run at QVC, and I figured she was going to spend more time with her family.

I was so happy to see this TSV. I don't want Susan to go anywhere. LOGO and Susan Graver make up 85% of my wardrobe! I am a fast talking NY'er, just like Susan. It just seems natural to me to hear people talk fast. Don't forget, QVC is aired 100 miles from NYC. You are going to get a lot of fast-talkers-it's in our DNA.

Susan, keep all the good stuff coming. I love your enthusiasm. I wouldn't blame you for wanting to spend more time sailing on LI Sound with Richie, (but don't stay out there for too long-we want more fashions from you)!

I liked SG. I really like her pants. I have a couple. Very well made. Her chatter really doesn't bother me. I know she sells a lot. A lot of people like her clothing. I usually don't buy clothes from QVC. I buy from Nordstrom. But Graver is a sometimes exception.
