TSV Android Tracfone Hint

I found out on Tracfone.com that you can not get ringtones from them for this phone so I researched it online and found a solution. I love different ringtones to identify who is calling. I found a Free app in the Google Play Store called ZEDGE that will let you download ringtones for your Android Tracfone TSV. It has some funny ones also. Check it out. I found my Old Time Rock and Roll so I have my ringtone back when my phone rings. Good memories of my kids with that song. there are ones Your Son Is Calling etc. also. You can also change the color of the Home button when different people call. I have red for family and pink for my friends. All the rest are the green that is this phones default color.

Thanks! Do you know how to add additional email accounts to this phone? TracFone customer service doesn't.

**For those having trouble adding email accounts to your new Tracfone. You may have to add a pop-server and a smtp-server (these are under the Time Warner etc. accounts that you had when originally set-up on your computer).; How to Add a Google Account
Category:: Getting Started

From the Main Screen, tap the "Google" folder.

Note: To access the Play Store, as well as some of the other applications on your Android phone, you will need to add or create a free Google Account. A Google Account is the same as a Gmail Account.

Tap the "Gmail" icon.

Follow the tutorial on your screen to add or create your Google Account.

Accept the Policy will come up as you add this Gmail account also.

To return to the main screen, press the HOME key

How to Add Email Accounts.

To Set up Email

From the main screen, tap the "Apps" icon.

Tap the "Email" icon.

Select the desired account type.

The "Email address" bar will be highlighted. Enter your email address.

Tap the "Password" bar. Enter your password.

Tap "Next." Your account will be verified.

Edit the account name as desired. Tap "Done."

To return to the main screen, press the HOME key.

If you download songs to an sd card in your phone (it's easy to do), then any of your songs come up as choices for alarms, ringtones, etc.

If you need help with the sd card, online you can access tutorials and the manual for your specific phone. I found my manual online (over 200 pages in a pdf document), saved it, and use it whenever something comes up.
