I wonder why they waste their time and ours on a product like that? It's obscene to pay $520 for a mere hair dryer. It means you've got more money than common sense. Everytime I read a review of these things, it's a complaint.

I have this dryer/styler and It sits on my bathroom counter in the presentation box.

I think if my hair was short, no longer than shoulder length, I'd like it. It doesn't do a thing for my long waist length hair. My hair is flat and straight no matter what I use to curl it with.

I used CC points to buy it while it was on sale, but I agree it is expensive for what it is.

@Kachina624 - I agree with you, but I imagine there are some who think this would be the best thing ever and think this is a perfect price. I have no idea whether or not it is.

But then the only blow dryer I've ever bought is a travel one from Target. I let my hair dry naturally.

Probably because it usually sells out and many people have or want one at a good sale price. I have one and love it. Not every product interests all people. No complaints at all.

I forgot to mention i have a lot of common sense and i am usually pretty frugal , but i think everyone buys products other people think are overpriced , jewerly for example i would never spend what many people don't blink twice at.

Also, on Fridays at 1:30pm they release a promo code on the Watch and Win livestream for 10% off anything for all customers, but it's only good until 3pm. I own the original and this one. I've had the original since it's inception on QVC and never had an issue with it and never needed another. I've got plenty of common sense. I don't judge others or insult them when they purchase very expensive jewelry, purses, shoes, clothing, cars etc. Common sense has nothing to do with it.

So glad I was born with great, thick hair. I often let my hair dry naturally, style it later.

When I use a blow dryer I use a 15 yr old dryer I bought at CVS. 😄

I can't imagine paying over $500 for a styler/dryer. I use a $30 dryer and a $50 heated round curling brush and I often receive compliments on my hair. I don't know what this product offers to justify such a price.

@scrapperlisa THANK YOU for mentioning that code! I didn't know if it would work for me or not, but I put it in during checkout, and paid $479 instead of $519! I don't know how I qualified as a "select customer", but maybe I got an e-mail and just deleted it and forgot about it. After reading your post, though, I figured it couldn't hurt to try, and it worked!

I am pinning my hopes on the conical wand producing some curl in my fine, straight hair, and if it doesn't, I'll send it back. The only way to know if it works, though, is to try it, so I will.

I also think the Dyson is crazy expensive. I did buy a Shark dryer from HSN a few years ago and it is a great dryer.

It also wasn't cheap but was on sale for around $300.00 It came with several attachements and I hope it lasts for many years!!

I got mine last year from Q, love it can get my hair dry and styled in a fraction of the time

many things on Q that I would consider a waste of money, all those Christmas decorations , VPH endless dust catchers

I too feel that people who can afford to have the right to buy whatever they want because that’s their business. And it doesn’t make them crazy to do so because everyone makes their own choices as to what’s important to them. This forum has a lot of haters that have nothing better to do than insult someone else’s choices. Just shows that they’re miserable because happy people spread love and joy, not disdain and judgement. And I said what I said and meant every word.
