That's a nice looking coat but I don't wear hooded coats. If it was not hooded I would probably buy it in black. Enjoy your purchase for those who buy it. Thanks @beach-mom

@Goodie2shoes He usually makes the hood detachable. I have one similar from severly years ago and it's still like new.

I have needed a lightweight rain jacket with a hood forever! So a sky blue coat is on it's way to me, thank you for posting, @beach-mom ! I have a knee-length tan trench coat for fall/winter, but it's really too much for spring and coastal/beach summer, as it has a lining that takes it down to comfort level even in the 40's, but this lining is just a thin fashion lining, not insulation. And here in Western Oregon, I need a hooded option year round.

I didn't realize the hood was removable, I like the black or the navy and might have to buy it ! As usual Basso is all over the place !

@Goodie2shoes I Really like the navy one. The only thing I don't care for is the belt, but that can be left off too. I'm just not a fan of tie belts for anything.

I already have this coat in navy blue....same style, detachable hood, same everything, except no button on the pocket and mine is waterproof.

Mine also has an inside hidden front zipper besides the button up front and is made by Lands End and I have had it a few years now.

How unique....Not!

I don't like the gold buttons. I think the price s high. It has no details on the sleeve and is very plain looking. Don't care for the belt.

I'm tempted! It's very nice! I do love hoods because my hair frizzes in any humidity, and I love a belt- But trying to be good because I really don't go anywhere that I need a formal trench coat- Also, it is very wide for me, the XXS, is a 40" chest-

If I cave, I would probably go for navy but that shade of pink is beautiful!

I like this but wear raincoats only a few times a year, trying to stay inside during bad weather and, after retiring, it's possible most times for me. I would go for the Tomato Red first, what a great way to add color to gloomy days. Also love the Champagne Bliss and Pure Sky Blue. I don't care for the goldtone buttons. Not a fan of the belt but, without it, I think the coat would look too boxy on my body. Hope everyone who purchases just absolutely loves it and can get some sunshine on the rainy days!

i like the jacket itself but do not care for the gold buttons or the striped lining. those put me in the 'no' category.

would have liked much better with a solid lining and color matched buttons.

I had a similar coat from DB years ago. It didn't work for my "pear" shape and I should have sent it back. Wound up donating it. Easy pass.

Agree with previous poster about Lands End. That's where I buy my outerwear.

I like it. I need one so I'm getting. Sky blue is the best color. The petite it is.

EDIT: Couldn't get it. XXS and even XS in sky blue (the only nice color) is sold out. So I'm out of luck! Those two sizes sell out so quickly!
