I think this fabric would make me hot, and I would need more room at the hips, and stripes are a no. I also don't like the cuffs or the front zipper placket. The only thing I like are the colors, especially the pink. They should have made this under $50, but maybe are trying to pay for the free shipping. Why is it that 95 poly/5 spandex feels great to me, but half and half cotton/poly or modal/poly feels hot?

I'm skeptical about the Scuba Luxe. I've never had anything with this fabric, so I will pay attention to Kim's description.

I love anything nautical, and I have a lot. So I don't really need this. Right now I'm probably leaning to passing, but we'll see!

ETA: I got the black petite and matching pants! Trying "scuba" for the first time. I plan to wear this Christmas Day, when we don't go anywhere! But we still take family pictures.

I'm not a fan of this look . It's another tunic, the colors are not very exciting and I don't care for the gold tone zipper on each one.

However, I'm glad to see that Kim is finally offering a petite sized top! Hopefully going forward her line will add more petite tops.

@Goodie2shoes I can't say KG is my fave designer, but she is in the top 3 for me...

Also, a pair of 'as is' dark indigo rollabelle jeans and 4 of her crushed velvet dresses - 1 of each color (A666906).

A bit excessive, but no regrets.

Kim needs to up her game. Too much sameness in styles and colors. This scuba style is hard to wear and requires a slimmer figure since it's fitted. I'm surprised they chose something like this.

An easy pass for me. I hate the stripes, looks nautical. The black on Kim looks decent. Courtney looks really dated and her pants are too short.

I think 3/4ths of my probably over 50 tops are Gravel, the remainder is Graver and Iman (HSN) I really like the purple top in your picture so I'm going to look for it, Thanks !

I’m looking for a monochrome leisure outfit. I saw a Peace Love World top and joggers on earlier today. I would have ordered except that no Petite was offered in the top. On the tall models, the sleeves looked long. So kudos to KG for offering the TSV top and the pants in Petite. I like the solic color tops. I won’t be ordering, however, because I’m leery of the fabric and the hips look like they would be tight on me.

@Kachina624 It doesn't look fitted at all. In fact, the fit description states relaxed.

Brands use the term scuba and it means different fabric content to different brands. Then here comes Belle calling this scubaluxe. To me it means very little, just a branding name the way Barefoot Dreams uses cozy chic ultra lite.

The TSV is:

Content: 50% modal/45% polyester/5% spandex

Kim's "modal means.......Monayyyy!" is the fabric content.

I really like the back high neck no-collar/collar. To me, that's the most attractive feature!

But typically, I don't like scuba knit because I haven't found any that doesn't feel spongy to me. I'm looking closely at the bottom hem with the slits. It looks very spongy, making the side slits look awkward.

One note to Leah though...No, scuba is not new. Bob Mackie did scuba knit decades ago. Nothing is new about it. It may be new for the Belle brand, that's all. I bought [and returned] a Marla Wynne scuba jacket a while ago. Lisa Robertson sold scuba knit for QVC's GILI line. Etc.

I like the style, but scuba? It must feel like a wetsuit. Also, its winter and I would like to see heavier, thicker winter clothes. That goes for all the designers not just Kim.
