Happy Fourth of July!

I know there will be some who are thrilled this is the TSV, but I miss seeing the TSV's on patriotic holidays that are made in the USA.

QVC has many choices for items made in the USA. I wish we could have had one of those.

Really going back, there was one 4th of July where QVC had an all day red, white and blue jewelry sale. The TSV was a choice of a pear shaped Rhodolite, Blue Topaz or White Topaz ring set in14k. I wish I could recall the price but I know it was ridiculously inexpensive. A few weeks later, I found these rings on sale at the QVC outlet store in Frazer for $19.99 each. I bought all three! (And they look great with the 14k ring guards that QVC used to sell in diamonique).

This is almost too funny....I saw an ad on TV earlier this week advertising something similar. I thought then what a crazy item. Other than a closet or garage, my ceilings don't have light sockets. I said this was similar to the really bright lights that were the rage a few years ago for garages and attics. I wondered if QVC would sell this "fan". Got my answer. Everyone have a safe and Happy 4th.

I happened to see this online. The cost to have an outlet put in the ceiling would be very expensive. I wouldn't want to do that for something that seems a bit cheap to me.

I have the lights sold a year or so ago for my garage and really like it. Only problem with it is that, when I sit going through boxes, it turns off on me, but that's no fault of the light, it's movement activated. I have ceiling fans already wired in all of my rooms so have no need for this. No matter what JT says, there's no reason for me to buy anything that I don't know how I'd use it; isn't that a disorder where you buy just to be buying?

Anyway, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in QVC for not offering a TSV that's made in America for this one day. I know it would be difficult since we have so few items made here nowadays, but it would have been nice even if they sold out quickly. I think that, if I needed this fan, I'd still not buy just to express my disdain of the offering.

The Info commercials have been touting this fan for awhile. I have no use for one either. My only sockets are in the garage or basement. I already have ceiling fans in the kitchen and bedroom. Not at at interested.

We had both our livingroom and bedroom wired to allow ceiling fans in them, it makes a great difference. Cost at the time was not overly expensive

All my rooms are wired for ceiling fans. I doubt this thing could pump out enough air for 115 degree temps. I would rather have a nice portable fan that blows lots of air.

Pass. I think the style is fine for farmhouse or industrial decorating but that's about it. It wouldn't go with my home decor.

Last January I had two ceiling fans removed in two bedrooms. Both were situated in the center of the rooms with a bed under each. I tired of standing on the beds to clean them and it was very dangerous at my age.

I replaced them with pretty, simple ceiling light which are covered, no dust collection.

last year I ordered a table top fan by Cascade which is silent (almost) I love it. Last night I ordered another in a champagne color.

The TSV is cheap looking and too small in diameter to help with cooling.

Save your money.

Easy pass.
