I just ordered multi. I love Tupperware and I have one round big bowl like this. In fridge now with cut up watermelon. I have had that bowl for years. This is a great price and I ordered the multi. I wish the multi had purple in the set and that purple is pretty.

I absolutely do not need more storage containers and have tons of Lock N Lock but could not resist this one. Time to go through my stuff and donate a few pieces and just keep my absolute favorites and this will be one for sure.

I like Lock N Lock but the tabs do not always hold up and most of the bodies are clear with colored lids and I like the whole container colored as well sometimes. I do like the Lock n Lock glass pieces I ordered not long ago. Perfect size for me.

Time to organize my cupboards and make room for my new set. Happy Dance!

No, not buying. I grew up on Tupperware and love the nostalgia seeing this.

But I cannot go back to not knowing what's inside my containers, whether using them for food or anything else, because of opaque colors. The lids can be colored, but I need to know what's inside by the clear or at least translucent container.

Open close, open close -- what did I put in there? The different color coding would be lost on me by the very next day

They are selling a set that is clear on the bottom. I bought it.

It's a great deal and I love Tupperware. I see they have the lettuce keeper. I finally wore my original one out. Great to be able to replace. I still have my original pieces from the early 70's.

I'm right there with you, @Caaareful Shopper . This is one instance where nostalgia is NOT a good thing, IMO. All this brings to mind is the endless furry leftovers that I tossed, Tupperware container and all.

That said, the best ice cream scoop I ever got was Tupperware. It heats on contact with some sort of liquid inside. It's heavy enough to use as a weapon, too! I don't know if it's still available through Tupperware, I got it many many years ago and never let it leave my house.

I can’t believe it! This post made me Happy!! 😃

Just yesterday my husband said to me, Guess what’s going out of business?? And told me Tupperware. It made me sad thinking about how all my aunts and uncles used it through the years.

I had him research it again after reading this post and sure enough they’re going to try and make a go of it! I guess they had to close their factory in the US though.

@RescueLover Yes, I read that earlier this Spring, so for sentimental reasons I ordered a set of glasses with lids and a pink pitcher from Amazon. I also ordered a strainer/colander with a handle. This is a good price on the bowls. Not sure if I will order though because I have so many storage containers already.

In a recent purge I donated over 20 Tupperware items. Some were 40 years old or more.

I prefer lock and lock.

Not a fan of Tupperware, cant put it in microwave. That would be way too impractical for me.
