HSN TS Shark Hair Dryer

Anyone buying this, I caved and bought it ($179.99), that's $20 off the retail price plus you get all the attachments and a bag. During the presentation they made it sound like the hair dryer itself is $199.99, but you do get three attachments with it. There is a straight set that doesn't come with the diffuser and a curly set that has the diffuser but not the nozzle.

@Jordan2 I am still debating on ordering it. I went and looked at the reviews @ Ulta and most are favorable.

I bought it too. I would never spend the $$$ for the Dyson one, but I've been very curious about comparable technology.

I bought the diffuser option.

I ordered it. I previously always bought drug store hair products and I am fine with that. My Conair is very old and noisy (not unlike myself hahaha), I've been afraid every time I use it that sooner rather than later it's going to blow up in my hand or start a fire. So this will be my first fancy schmancy blow dryer. I am 66 and no hair product or tool is going to turn me into a young supermodel. But I am still excited to get this.

@Pecky You're right. There's just one option. I jumped on it when I saw the diffuser, and I know last time that was separate. But it comes with it in thie TS.

On their website you can design your own. You can pick any two attachments and the dryer for $150. The T S is a good deal but if you don't want or need all four, then the design your own may be the way to go.

I would only use the diffuser so it would be a waste for me. I'm actually happy with my Black Orchid diffuser and a fairly cheap Hot Tools dryer, so easy pass.

@Jordan2 I have this. I paid for it at Amazon, last year. Perhaps a little less then that. It's a great dryer. In fact, so good, that I prefer my hair styled just with the dryer. I no longer use any styling tool. It came with a diffuser and another attachment. I didn't need it. I have good thick hair with natural body.

I currently have a Drybar Buttercup hairdryer that I like but I feel it my be nearing its lifespan. I would have probably bought it again (anyone interested it normally sells for $199 but is half price today on Ulta a good deal), but wanted to try the Shark dryer. The only con of the Drybar is it is rather heavy.

I thought about buying but I would never use all the attachments. It is a good value for those using all attachments.

I bought it when they had it as a TS back in the summer. I needed a new dryer and I like the brush attachments. I love mine!

ETA: I just checked and mine came with at least two brushes that you can attach for drying (I really only use one) and four curling wands which I only use occasionally.

I see that this one has different attchaments.

I am on the fence with this dryer. I did buy a Shark dryer at Costco last January but its really heavy.

This dryer looks interesting. I wouldn't need the diffuser (that is just for curly hair, right?) but the other attachments I could probably use. I just don't know that I want to spend quite this much for a dryer.

Amazon is offering the Drybar Buttercup hairdryer for $99.00. Maybe it is a promotion this month.
