Giuliana's TSV jacket on HSN question

How do her sizes run? I have not bought any of her clothing line but I like the jacket she has for today's TSV, in Ivory.

On the screen it said bust measured 33" for XS, but on the order page the chart says bust 41.5 for XS and 43,5 for small.

I am usually an XS in clothes but in a jacket I would probably go up? I think?

She always has the XXXS small on but G is very slim, and tall.

33" for an xs small in a jacket sounds like a jersey size not a coat bust size right?

Is her line true to size or should I believe the written (on the ordering page) chart and not what in on the screen when models are showing it?

Anyone buy much from her line to know if her clothes run large, "normal", or small? (No Q clothing line seems to run within the normal size for what they say which is why I am hesitating).

HSN clothing are department store sizes if you know what yours is. I would go by the measurements but her jackets are often fitted so if you want more room, go uo.

I saw the presentation. I would not go up unless you want a big oversized jacket. She addressed sizing. Giuliana said buy your normal size because the jacket has been designers to give a relaxed fit.

I love the ivory jacket. It is so elegant looking. If I were to order I would order my usual xxs as I don't want it too boxy.

I looked at the garment measurements, and I would stay true. The 1x bust measure is 54", which is big. There would be plenty of room for a sweater.

I usually go by the garment size they put up for the individual item. I think I would stay true to size on this as it does seem pretty generous and allows for a thick sweater under it. It is a beautiful coat I am contemplating getting one for myself. Enjoy if you get it!!

I love Giuliana and her leggings & tops but this jacket is a pass for me. Not practical for my area. Giuliana has a net worth of millions, owns 9 restaurants, numerous mansions and goes on & on about how she wears Shoe Shop

shoes and buys on HSN because she loves free shipping.

I am not a big G fan, however I will say the pieces I have purchased in the past I sized up on as I feel her line usually runs small. That being said, this does say "loose fitting" under product details so if I was buying it I would go true to size, I feel that's your best bet.

Stick to your regular size if you layer- If not, maybe size down!
I think it's cool, edgy and very much my style, so I am tempted... But I haven't caved because it's not for rain or snow, and has no hood, which I use often when it's cold- And while I love the contrast colors, my makeup will show all over the lapel and dirt on the sleeves... Hate that, hard to remove it-

Might get the blue though, more forgiving... not sure-

Have too many coats- Fun decisions!

I would opt for the Blue, although the cream option is nice, too.

Actually each choice is very, very nice.......The fabric looks a bit shiny because of the very, very bright studio lighting......I'm confident that it would be more muted/suede looking in person.

they still have all the colors and sizes tonight. It may drop in price fairly soon.

It's not for me.

I bought a jean jacket that has shape to it with sherpa on the collar and cuffs for 29.50 that I really like.

When it comes to G, her sizing is all over the place, so I go by actual garment measurements. What they showed on screen is probably recommended sizing for your measurements, but I almost always end up with too large a garment if I go by that or the siza recommendation chart linked on the item's page.

For example, the first item of hers I bought was a skirt I got in an 8. While I can wear it, it's just a tad loose on me, so the next skirt I got of hers I bought a 6 and it fit perfect. Then, I bought a pair of pants. I remember looking at the sizing recommendation on it and thought it was off, so I checked the actual garment measurements. I had to get that item in a 12, and yes they fit and that size 6 skirt still fits, so no, I didn't gain weight.

Of course, with a jacket like that, it's a little more difficult since you need to know how much ease you'll need to add in.

Personally, I don't care for that style especially on someone short like me. It would overwhelm me and make me look chunky. Whoever the host is tonight had on a small and it was too big on her. The sleeves were too long too. But, when she zipped it, it looked like sizing down to an xs might make it too small to zip. It really overwhelmed her though.
