OMG, who is that Kirstin person???? She never stops talking and the speed is unbelievable - the poor vendor is worn out trying to get a word in without interruption.

I have been waiting for Shark to be a TSV for several months and the presentation is driving me crazy. I have quit watching QVC because of the hyper hosts and some vendors - why do they have to resort to that pitch? I have resorted to check the program guide and then look at recently aired if it is anything I want.

She must be new and over trained - I had to turn it off and will wait for tomorrow to see if a host with a normal voice and delivery presents it.

She must have said the "green will not last" - I'm betting it does - such pressure. I want to throw something at the TV.

HI. I have not watched the presentation but I bought the shark rotater a few weeks ago from BB and I love it. I was going to buy a Dyson but was hesitant of the price. After a lot of research online, I bought it and am very happy with it

I've had my Dyson Animal for a very long time, but it's very heavy and I was having difficulty maneuvering it. Everyone in my family have Dysons, from the lightweight cordless stick to the ball. I also have that small Dyson animal cannister that I use for cleaning up in my bathrooms only because that's where the litter boxes are.

Well, I bought the Navigator Lift-away professional and I'm simply blown away at the effectiveness of this vacuum. I have three dogs and three cats and I have to vacuum daily. I ran my Dyson, then ran my navigator and the navigator picked up a ton of dust and fur. Then I ran my Dyson one more time figuring hey, they both miss things right? NOPE. After running the navigator, the Dyson didn't pick up anything else.

The navigator is strong, so easy to maneuver and considerably lighter than the Dysons AND has the 5 year warranty as well. I'm loving my Navigator.

Sorry but comparing a very old, your words, Dyson to a brand new Shark is like comparing apples to oranges. Regardless, I am happy to hear you have found a new sweeper that you are happy with and is easier for you to handle. To each their own.

Just rinse the filter from time-to-time. The canister empties easily with the press of a button. There are many nice options with this machine.

Am over 76 and finding it harder and to do many chores I am use to doing...

Have many area's that require using the canister feature...

Thanks in advance

lovestodance

Hey there - check out V32283. It's the one with the dolly, and it also has a floor attachment that you can step on and adjust for bare floor or carpet. I have this model and I use the dolly frequently on my hard surfaced floors. It rolls right along with you. I've had Dyson and Riccar and the Shark is by far my favorite. Just rinse the filter from time-to-time. The canister empties easily with the press of a button. There are many nice options with this machine.

The vacuum they are showing is not the one with the Dolly. Let me see if I can find it for you.

Have had so many vac and really lean toward canisters.

I cannot handle any that are heavy and cumbersome... Some tight areas that need more of a narrow path floor brush...

Do have some hardwood floors, some Berber carpeting, also a few area rugs... Is your model easy to handle?

Sorry to bother you with this added question?

lovestodance

Lovestodance, the head of this vac is about a foot - and the swiveling head makes it work in tight spaces very well. I have hardwood, vinyl, and wool carpet, and it works well on all. There are options to familiarize oneself with - short learning curve and then it becomes intuitive. I use the floor/carpet attachment lots, though the carpet gets a better groom with the upright mode.

I find it very easy to handle, but I guess that is dependent on individual limitations. I hope this helps. Really, nothing like a good vacuum!

I read the reviews on Amazon. While many were very good, a number of people reported their quit working within a few months and they were told by company CS they had to ship it in at customer's expense (about $20), and also pay again to have it shipped back to them. Nobody wanted to spend another $40., so most junked it.

I have the Dyson could not wait to get it. It did put a dent in my budget but I really wanted it. Now I'm going to try this navigator . I think the Dyson is over rated. I have and older Vacumn that I use to clean the family room it has more power then the Dyson. I don't want to have to carry vacuum's up and down the stairs. So I'm really hoping this navigator really does what they claim not just hype to sell vacuums.
