I love liquid knit. Have a closet full! Easy care. Always looks good. Lasts forever. I much prefer liquid knit over cotton. Not needing any tops right now, however.

I'm not investing in her line any longer, I've bought and returned at least 6 items over the past couple of years. I'm tired of paying for the shipping to send things back so if I've been disappointed in quality before I won't buy that brand again. It's sad, I really loved buying from QVC due in part to my faith in the quality of the products.

Pretty lame for a TSV. Easy pass for me. I do not like silky feeling tops. Sweaty in summer and cold in winter. I much prefer cotton.

@Bicher I don't consider $25. for a nice shirt that can be worn dressy or casual, to be excessive in price. In fact it's very reasonable.

@ellaphant. There is nothing cheesy about Liquid Knit. Its high quality polyester that doesn't wrinkle, fade or hold stains. Susan's clothing is very well made so you could easily still be wearing it in 20 years. Quite an excellent investment.

I used to really like liquid knit tops for under jackets, etc. but lately they have come very wrinkled and it is impossible to get the fold lines out. I have tried steaming, washing and tumble dry, etc. Nothing has worked. I notice that the older tops I do have are a bit heavier than the more recent ones. Unfortunately, I am limiting purchases because the quality has deteriorated

@Kachina624 ITA with you regarding the quality from years ago, however I posted on another thread that to me this TSV looks thin and cheaply made. I don't think it's flattering on any of them. The quality is suffering in so many lines these days.

OMG can we please stop with the liquid knit. It may last a long time; but I have to agree the fabric "looks" the same as the variety available in the big box discount stores. Not a good look it shows all the lumps and bumps. Look at all the models in the presentations for example.

@LindaSal There's no doubt that, despite what Susan says, Liquid Knit DOES cling. I haven bought any for a long time as I have an adequate supply so I don't know is the quality has changed.

I have never wanted to try SG's liquid knit because I saw it firsthand on my sister years ago and couldn't imagine wearing it myself. I do not like the 'feel' of it.

@SilleeMee I agree. I don't understand why polyester (plastic) fabric is allowed to be manufactured. Our landfills are overflowing with this junk.

We are sending poly clothing to poor countries as a kindness to help them. Actually, we found a dumping ground to get rid of plastic garbage.

As it slowly composes, it leaks methane gas which is lethal.

@Carmie My feeling is that polyester is a miracle fiber, one of the great inventions of the Twentieth Century.

It doesn't wrinkle, color never fades, easily and quickly washes and machine dries, takes dyes for great, bright color.. It can be made to mimic any other fiber including those that have become prohibitively expensive like silk and wool. It will even imitate leather which is otherwise impractical and expensive. Yes, it's durable and will be functional and good looking for years. If you tire of it, just pass it on to someone else as it'll still look like new.

I'm so thankful we have it as I hate having to iron all the "natural" fabrics and giving them special laundry handling.

Nice TSV. I like the color choices.

The checked blazers are nice, too. I recall having a navy and cream seersucker blazer years and years ago. Loved it. Very cool in the Summer, too. SG's version has a texture that reminds me of seersucker.

In some cases, I would size up, looking at several who are wearing them.

@Kachina624 I am the opposite. I am a natural fabric kind of person. Even as a very small child I would only wear cotton panties. My mother would buy those nylon panties and I wouldn't wear them.

POLY is plastic. It is like wearing a plastic bag. Every time you wash it, plastic particles go down the drain. This is ruining our waterways and killing our fish and wildlife. Even humans aren't immune to it. It is dangerous stuff.

I wear mostly 100% cotton. Washing is no big deal. I just throw it in the washer with cold water, remove it and hang to dry, or put it in the dryer to warm it up and put it in a hanger to finish drying. My shirts are ready for me to hang in the closet. I dry my jeans and other clothing like sweat pants and sweat shirts completely in the dryer.

I very seldom iron anything. There is no special care involved.

I am sure you have 100% cotton towels. Just wash and dry.

Passing down clothing? Most people do not want used clothing. Polyester holds oily and perspiration stains and the fabric discolors in the sunlight. I have no choice but to buy sheer poly curtains for the window on my camper door. They turn yellow and need replaced every year.

The landfill picture shows where all that donated passed down clothing ends up. There is no way to safely dispose of it.

And those nasty microfiber sheets....

Bring back the glass jars and bottles too.

Stores are not using plastic bags anymore, someday the poly clothing will be not available either. But, since it lasts forever, people who have it can just wear what they already own or search the landfills to find what they want.

Plastics in general have changed the world and made our lives easier, but at a great cost to our food supply and environment.
