Ninja CREAMi Deluxe TSV Review!

Purchased just before Christmas. I prepared 3 pints for the freezer, 1 pint of eggnog to make ice cream, 1 pint of Yoplait strawberry yogurt to make frozen yogurt and 1 pint of store brand vanilla yogurt, to make frozen yogurt. I got lazy over the holidays and didn't feel like messing with the machine yet, although I had it setup and ready to go! The pints stayed in the freezer thru New Years Day.

This morning I finally go the itch and wanted to test out the machine. I pulled out the frozen eggnog and processed it on the "light ice cream" setting, took 4 minutes! When it was done, and I took the lid off, I was amazed at what I saw. Probably some of the best home-made thick/soft serve ice cream, I've ever had in my life! Not only that but the first time I tried it, it worked perfectly! It even created it's own center "hole" to pour in candies or cookies if I wanted (I did and added some chocolate chips) and then ran it through a "mix" cycle. If you've never had eggnog ice cream before, you might want to give it a try!

I plan to test out the pints of yogurt later this week but I'm expecting there to be no issues. The machine is a power horse! One thing to note, while processing your product, the machine is VERY LOUD...it sounds like there is a jet sitting in your kitchen (as in an airplane). The "mix" cycle is not noisy at all.

I would highly recommend this product.

I have one and love it. Gave my daughter one for Xmas and she is enjoying hers. Making some pints up last night and ran over and got my sugar. Said she had everything else and forgot the sugar.

I said no problem but will cost you a pint. Lol

I bought one the first time Q had it as a TSV. I love it! It makes the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. :-)

I had to return my machine yesterday. The power cord "blew up" and started a fire along the cord. Thank God I was in the kitchen while it was processing. I decided to just get a refund, rather then trying another one for safety reasons.
