So agree with both of you! It looks like a really nice sweater and I love the color options but the price is a killer. Almost $55 to get it home. Looking forward to seeing the new fall fashions this weekend and it’s not something to pounce on right away. You would think for a tsv they would sell volumes so could have a better price point.

So far I've seen two hosts in this sweawter tsv and both had on sizes too small they couldn't button the ones they have on even if they wanted to.

This so-called designer is from sunny Cali, she designs for how they dress not needing a whole lot of clothes on the body. Her shorts are way too short, there's no style to much of anything she sells here. I have to say I believe there are not at all many in their 20s and 30s who shop here for fashions and the items that this vendor brings here is more for that age group in my opinion. Many things of her's I would not buy nor wear.

So over all that I seen this weekend you won't find in my closet.

@Bicher I understand your frustration about the prices, but the Q is not the only retailer raising prices, This is just a fact of life. You just have to shop around for better deals.

I think that the sweater is cute. I especially like the two toned ones. The price is average for the current economy but I think should be a little lower since it's a TSV. I am not buying because of the ruffle cuffs. Not my style. I am thinking about the Gravel military style jacket that I saw yesterday. That's more me than a girly girl type of fashion. To those getting the Bure sweater, enjoy!

I think the sweater is cute if you're wearing the proper size. I wouldn't buy it because I rarely wear sweaters. There's nothing wrong with the designer designing for California tastes. That is what we wear out here in the southwest. Dressing up is a clean pair of jeans and a tee with sneakers or boots. Others like Isaac and Susan Graver design clothes that are impractical for us in the desert. (Coats, heavy pants, turtlenecks etc). Something for everyone.

@jackthebear Much less. I found a crew neck style cardigan that otherwise looks just like the TSV at Macy's. Cotton/viscose/nylon, 9 different colors, for $19.99.

I chuckled when Ali Carr described the TSV this morning, "a style like no other!" OK.

Hopefully whomever is buying this is aware that this is 88% POLYESTER and 12% nylon. They’re fooling everyone cause they keep on saying how it’s soft like cotton. Candace is using cheap materials for an elevated price. Nice style- but don’t get fooled. As a former Fashion buyer, I’m a stickler for fabrics.

Southern Florida temperatures will be in the high 80 or 90's for another 3 months and then maybe in the 70's during most of my waking hours until the heat returns. Do I NEED to buy any sweater at any price?

No way. I lived years and years through northern winters. When I moved here permanently, I kept all the sweaters I would ever need. Maybe one day I will see one I want, but right now, even at thrift store prices, fall and winter doesn't interest me. I was in my favorite local thrift yesterday looking for a cotton dress with no luck. If I'd wanted sweaters of any color, lots of them and many showed virtually no signs of wear.

I love her stuff. I see nothing wrong with her shorts. Almost all my shorts are from her and they are 4-5" inseam. They are true shorts, not Bermudas. I still have good legs and am not embarrassed to show them. I also love her petites in tops. I didn't buy her cardigan. I have enough at home. She and Barefoot dream (yes I purchased some last night) are main reasons I watch QVC.

Well I LOVE this brand. Imho her line is modern, not the usual extra long tops with odd shaped bottoms to cover up hips and tummies.

So far I've found this brand to be good quality and nice material.

I previously bought one of her sweaters on clearance and it was perfect. I ordered two TSV's, the green and the oatmeal with blue trim.

Anyways, guess we all have different likes/dislikes, but happy to see QVC is responding with variety to satisfy us all.

I absolutely love Candace as an actress, Especially on the Aurora Teagarden mysteries. But I don't care much for her fashions. They're just much too young for my liking.

Regarding the TSV poly/nylon fabric...my experience with synthetics is that they do keep me warmer than natural/semi-synthetic fibers such as cotton or rayon. The TSV sweater is good in that respect. A sweater should give me some warmth if nothing else. To me that's the whole point of wearing a sweater.

So much polyester! When I was going through menopause I needed breathable natural cotton. Polyester gave me terrible hot flashes because it doesn't disapate the heat.
