Paging BlingQueen.....

Yesterday I ordered Barbara Bixby's frog ring. I researched the forums for reviews and saw that you received this ring about a year ago. Are you still happy with it? Also I noticed that many of the online reviews said to order up a size; what do you think about that?

The ring is on clearance now. Since I have always admired it, I took the plunge yesterday. I ordered it in two sizes, just in case..

Please forgive me for not answering right away. I was working today and I didn't see your thread until now. I do have this ring. It's beautiful, but I have to say I do wear it but not every day. I don't think it's an every day ring because of its size. It's a very large ring. I did not order a size up. I ordered my regular size and it fits great. I've never ordered up on anything that Barbara Bixby produces in rings. Even the 100 dollar flower ring she had as a tsv I ordered my regular size. I really love this ring, I just don't wear it to work because it would get in the way of things. I'll wear this ring on the weekends when I'm not working. I get a lot of compliments on it. A Clinique sales rep went crazy over that ring when I was wearing it. She said she does jewelry design in her off hours and she literally made me take it off so she could look at every detail of it.

You got yourself a great deal on clearance. I paid full price for this ring when it was first shown. Enjoy it and wear in the best of health. The frog is too stinkin cute. Please review after you receive it. I love Barbara's rings. She's a fabulous designer. You sure don't see these rings on anybody else. That's what I love the most about her designs.

Thank you @BlingQueen022. I'm thrilled that you still love it and don't regret your purchase. I understand that it is not an everyday ring, but we go out a lot, and it would be on those kinds of occasions when I would wear it.

I like having some truly artistic pieces in my collection and this is a ring that fits that bill. I also have Barry Cord's frog ring, but that one is more of a casual ring that could be worn every day as it is all sterling, and considerably smaller.

I have considered cancelling the larger size, but perhaps I will try both and see which is the more comfortable fit.

It's my pleasure. I think you will love that ring. I bought it for my ring finger. It would make a great ring for the middle finger also. You did well in getting both sizes because you can decide if you want it for your ring or middle finger.

Also, did you know her peacock ring is on clearance. that ring is more then fabulous. It's downright stunning. The detail is amazing. I snatched that up when it went on clearance. You may want to take a look at that one too. the frog and the peacock ring are nice collector pieces. It's item number J320124.

OMG @BlingQueen022!!

I can't believe this ring!! I'm someone who usually thinks things look better on TV, and am usually underwhelmed when I open a Q jewelry purchase. But this ring is a work of art! I absolutely love it!!

I told you I ordered two sizes, and my usual size arrived today and it fits perfectly. I don't know why a couple of the reviews said to order up. Now I have to send that other sucker back.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am, and that I am now eyeballing the gecko ring...

Hi there Fariemoon: I have tried 4 times last night to respond to your post here, but for some reason it wouldn't let me. I'm trying this again.

I want to say I'm thrilled you received your ring and that your ring finger size fits perfectly. I knew you didn't have to size up, but since you did, you may want to see if the larger size looks good on your middle finger. That way you can decide which ring looks the best before returning one of them.

After you eye ball that cute gecko ring, don't forget the peacock ring is on clearance. That's a great looking ring also. Wear your new ring in the best of health and enjoy it. I'm thrilled you love it. You made my day yesterday when I read your post.
