Judith Ripka One Time Only!

Did anyone purchase the One Time Only Necklace this past Friday. Just wanted some opinions on the Value. I am new to the line. Just have a few peices. I have mine in check status and am undecided if I should take the plunge. Haven't spent this much on her items yet. I do love it! I think it's stunning.

Hi Moondance, I ordered both the sterling and clad options of the OTO necklace. Had them in my wishlist since they first aired and the price was great. I have several Ripka necklaces and they are all beautiful with the signature texturing and they have all held up well . This one in particular in interesting with the pearls and Diamonique rondelles and the added removeable enhancers. I hope to have them by Tuesday and I can post my review here. I think you should get it home to see for yourself if you can. Good luck with your decision.

So happy you responded to my question. i was drawn to it immediately Friday night when they presented it. I had never seen it before. Then it sold out. I wanted the 17 3/4 Gold Clad. Well I sat for 45 minutes putting the item# in, over and over and finally one popped up and it just happened to be the one I wanted. I was thrilled. I have been thinking about it ever since and watched the video again today. Happy to say, I did purchase it. I figured if I was that drawn to it and to keep trying to get it after it sold out, I must really want it. It's more than I like to spend but what a savings on it. I see all sizes and colors are available now at the regular price. Please post your review when you get it. I am so excited. I figure if by chance I don't like it I can send it back. However I highly doubt that will be the case. Thanks for your assistance. It made feel terrific about purchasing it.

I ordered this in the silver 17 inch. I'm a sucker for pearls and thought the necklace was beautiful. I was checking my order and clicked on the link to look at it again. I could not believe that the regular price is 170.00 more than the one time only price. Wow. I'm not sure why it would be that expensive. It is diamonique after all. I think the value of something depends on how much wear you get out of it. I have had a JR watch for several years and wear it almost every day. I had never had a 200.00 watch before, but it was definitely a good value to me.

Your absolutely right when you say, how much you will wear it. I gave that a lot of thought. I don't buy a lot of jewelry any more. Somehow, this called my name. I have not purchased a necklace in years, until recently I saw s Bronzo one I liked. This necklace is so me I believe I will wear it often. I may have a hard time taking it off. LOL. It just is so unique and special. I think so anyway. I can't wait to get it and look forward to reading reviews. Honestly I just hope I love it as much as I think I am going to. I own 2 expensive diamond necklaces. The one I never take off, the other one I wear often too. I have never regretted spending the money. I think this will be the same. I know it's not real diamonds but I do think it gives a lot of bang for your buck. Can't even imagine what it would it cost if it were pure gold and diamonds. I probably will get more compliments on this necklace than my other 2 special ones. I do own a lot of Carolyn Pollack, as I lived out west for 8 years. I don't have a lot of gold and now it's sky high in price. So I am trying to buy special peices that are calling my name.

Hi Moondance, I just received my OTO necklaces in both the clad and starling silver choices and they are both SPECTACULAR. The alternating high polish with the textured links looks great mixed with the diamonique rondelles and the pearls ( if Ms Judie had added two more pearls towards the back of the necklace it would have been Super Spectacular in my opinion) . The removeable enhancer charms are so beautifully done and the pearls are gorgeous . I love both choices and will be keeping them- the price was fantastic as well . I hope my review helps with your decision making. It is surely a piece you must see in person. Let me know what you decide.

Hi Anisha! I am so thrilled you love them both. Hopefully I will get my gold clad today. I just knew you were going to love it. It just looked so special. The price was fabulous. I received my Sterling yesterday. I love it and anything I can get multi use out of. Charms and a beautiful, all purpose necklace. I got the shorter one for $399 and it is worth it for all the wear I will get out of it. The charms are cute too.

When you think that her charms are usually over $50 each, well, you get the idea. Hope you decide on it, you'll never know until you see it.

I would love the clad too!!

I actually did decide to purchase the 17" in gold clad. I purchased it later that day, I couldn't stop thinking about it and the great price. So I took the plunge. I think it should be here today. I will report back. I know I am absolutely going to love it. I will get a lot of use out it as I don't have many gold necklaces at all and I have been looking for something unique and special and I think This is it. Happy you love yours.

I got it! I got it! It came today. I am so happy I did. It truly is gorgeous. Nothing not to love about. Showy but not over the top. I love the baguettes. You know, it's lovely yet hip and cool too.

I have a question for those that purchased this. The way the charms are set up, do you have to remove them every time you take the necklace on off or am I missing something. The charms are in the way of hooking the chain to get it on and off. Any suggestions.

Yes, you do have to remove the charms to get it on and off. I have been sliding them on and off (as opposed to removing them by the clasp). In my opinion, this is kind of a design flaw. It would be easier if it had another clasp on the back.

I agree. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. I actually was hoping I was. It's kind of a pain having to do that each time. It sure is gorgeous though but honestly I am not sure if I will keep it.

Ok, I have been sliding the charms off as you suggested and it's actually quite easy that way. It's a keeper, but I agree it is a design flaw. It is a WOW necklace for sure.
