Received Empty Jewelry Pouch!!!!

After waiting 3 weeks to receive Shawn's ring set, I was so excited when it was delivered to me today. When I open the box, the pouch was empty!!!!! I could not believe this, the envelope addressed to me was not tampered with in any way, so it is very curious how an empty pouch was packaged, very wierd. I was livid when I called CS, and of course my size is sold out, no WL. Then I was checking on a pair of Isaac's ankle pants, they are out for delivery, great right? It would be if they were being delivered to me instead of to someone else in an entirely different town. This is just not my day.

I'd call CS again (not being livid as that doesn't get you anywhere) and explain what happened and ask if there is a CS rep who could look into the matter and see if there is still one available. Not sure if they can be resized if it's the wrong size. Probably won't work but worth a try.

I wonder if it's employee theft for the rings. I'm sorry you are disappointed. It's a really pretty set. Well, this just means there's something else out there you will love. Just wait!

WAIT a minute.....if it's J321142 it's still available. Sizes 9 and 10. Maybe can be resized if you need to.

This has happened to me twice over the 20years of buying at the Q. Just call CS and tell them and they will send you another. Ask to speak with a Supervisor if you must. If you don't get any satisfaction, call you CC company right away and protest the charge.

Thanks ladies for your replies. CS immediately issued a refund to my card but I am a size 8 and only a 9 (WL) or 10 was available. I don't think that the metal on this ring can be sized. Oh well, in the scheme of things, this is really not anything to be upset about but I was so looking forward to this set. Maybe it was meant to be and something I will love even more will come along.

Can't you go on the waiting list? There is another Item number with the smaller sizes.

That is a shame. I would be disappointed too.

That is a beautiful set. I just love epiphany! It is my fav line of jewelry at Q. I have pieces since they were first introduced and they wear and last forever. Very affordable line, IMHO.

I hope it comes back in stock for you!

This happened to me twice, as well. Ripka pieces both times. CS sent a replacement for one, the other was sold out :-(.

I received an empty jewelry box for another item. The paper mailer looked like it had been pulled open in a small area, but it didn't look big enough to me for someone to have removed my ring, bit I will never know. There is a mailbox theft problem in my area.

OMG! thank you so much! I had no idea this was also listed under another item number. I cannot figure out why this was done but I am thrilled - just put it on WL. Surprisingly, not even CS knew about this. Love these boards

I definitely think it's employee theft. They're packaging up tons of the same item, and they don't think it will be any big deal to take one and mail you an empty box. That happened to me once, too. Also, I had an incident where the post office delivered to me an item that was addressed to someone in another town. I had received several items that day and opened them all before I realized I had two of one item and then actually looked at the address to see that it wasn't addressed to me at all. Interestingly, I took it to the post office and left the flap open so the clerk could check the item and see that it was still there, but he didn't even glance at it. He just put tape over the flap and tossed it into the mailing bin.

If I were QVC I think I would take down this thread. It's going to give a lot of dishonest people ideas. I don't doubt this happened, but they did refund your money. Hopefully you will get your ring on waitlist.
