Received Shawn's Wedding Set Today

The thing I love the most about this set is you don't have to line up the rings to match the pattern on the eternity band. The engagement ring part of it doesn't flop on my finger. The set fits true to size. The stone on the engagement ring has nice sparkle and it doesn't look big at all. It's a very believable size. It's classic, and nicely done. The eternity band has a nice sparkle to it also. I'm happy with the purchase and glad I ordered it. It's beautiful. Very comfortable to wear. You don't even know you're wearing rings. This is a nice set.

Hi there SuesCat! Thank you. I owe it all to DogLvr. She's a great teacher. Now I'll be a cutting and pasting fool. I wore this set today to the grocery store and was writing a check. The cashier complimented me on my rings. She said it was a pretty wedding set and that she liked it. Said the engagement ring was awesome. I didn't have the heart to say it was a fake, lol. I just said thank you. I love this set. You don't even know you're wearing rings. Enjoy your weekend and make it a safe one.

I have an eternity band and a princess cut solitaire, but mine is 14 kt gold setting. I think this is a very safe bet and something you won't get tired of. My band is round diamonds channel set and they don't go around the very bottom. Two reasons: one, bigger diamonds for the same cost (lol!!), and two I can put lotion on my hands or handle dough without it getting in the diamonds. My hubby kept saying get them all around, but I'm glad I didn't because they would get gunk on the side underneath. Mine doesn't turn on my hand much at all either (which I worried about but hasn't been an issue).

I agree. When we were buying my eternity band, my husband thought the diamonds should go around the entire band. The jeweler pointed out there would be a greater chance the stones could loosen and would get dirtier. Also the stones can be irritating between your fingers.

I chose to go for a 3 stone ring. It looks great as a stand alone ring. IMO eternity bands sometimes look lost as stand alone rings. There is little pizzazz.

I bought this also and love it. My "real" wedding set is a 1karat marquis and it catches or hooks on every thing and my partial eternity band rolls around and I have to straighten it so much. I second that this ring set is so comfortable, don't even feel it on and don't have to remove it to do things like changing sheets, etc. Is the cleaning of this ring the same as I do with my real set? I use just warm water and my dish washing liquid With a soft, child's toothbrush. Thanks.
