I love when Pat does jewelry shows. She always does a great job.

Yes she does a great job. She is a very good host when she's by herself and doing jewelry. She is an entirely different person when she's on with Jayne or another host and she's doing clothing. It's like she doesn't know what to say and she apologizes frequently. She gets silly and just laughs through entire presentations.

Not so when she's presenting jewelry. She is completely professional and is able to demonstrate her knowledge about gold and jewelry and she's just really impressive as a host.

They need to give her more jewelry shows in particular gold and silver, and less clothing shows.

She has always been a great jewelry host. The only shows I remember her doing 25 years ago were her jewelry shows.

I like Pat but I thought she should have kept her comments to herself about Michael D. having one show. It was in poor taste.

Many have said this on other threads, and I agree that she hosts best when she doesn't have to work with another host. Wasn't there even some speculation that she had something to do with Dave James being let go? I liked him as a host and QVC had to few male hosts as it was.

Maybe she doesn't want to go to Italy. When she hosted the 18K shows years ago she went to Italy quite a bit. So did Mary Beth. Pat is good hosting any show when she is alone. Jayne Brown is also much better alone.

I think Pat and Rick are the best jewelry hosts. I always thought Lisa was good because that was Lisa's thing. She is a good spokesperson. Marketing was her trade. But Pat is very, very good. Rick is next and then Jill Bauer.

She did a great job with Michael Dawkins which surprised me.. She seemed to be very confident and comfortable with him. I also liked what she was wearing and wondered if she got it from QVC.

I agree she should not have pointed out that he only had one show today.

If I remember correctly, Michael himself said the last time he was selling his jewelry on the Q that his next appearance on the big Designer Day (today) would unfortunately be limited because of prior commitments that couldn't be helped but that "I will be there". I don't think it was any slip of the tongue on Pat's part or any big deal one way or the other.

I LOVE his jewelry.... and, like Pat, I have his watch and have been wearing it since I bought it (the same time Pat did, when it was first introduced).

I enjoy Pat and she does shine when doing jewelry. It would be nice had she been scheduled to do something in prime time today. In recent years, I've only seen her paired with Jayne and I don't particularly care for the two of them together, but with a different co-host, she might well be just fine. That said, I do enjoy most her when she hosts solo.

Pat was the solid, dependable pro today as she always is. Imagine if she were just hitting her stride in today's environment, oh the places she would go.

I've observed that too, and it's very strange. Like in school when someone was really one way when you're just one on one, but when they get with "the Crowd", they have to change.
