I was hopeful when he sold to Miriam Haskell because I love their jewelry (of course the vintage pieces are awesome) but even some of the current costume jewelry is interesting but when I found RLM pieces at Nordstroms Rack I was honestly disappointed in the mystery metal. Not sure if he's doing anything in silver now??

In Oct or Nov there were quite a few RLM lunch time specials. My guess was the line is moving on, but that's just my speculation.

He is my favorite. Glad I purchased some of his early heavy silver pieces, I have quite a collection of his work. I can't believe the SoHo store is closing. Where is he?

I used to buy a lot of his silver jewelry as gifts for my niece and sisters back in the day. I have two pairs of silver earrings and one ring. I eventually stopped buying his jewelry because I had to send too much of it back due to defects.

He used to be on all the time. I liked his stuff, it was different and I still wear a lot of the stuff I got from him. He lost me when he started going into brass.

He lost my interest when he came out with that tacky line of Andy Warhol inspired jewelry....it was awful. He also creeped me out with his descriptions of how sensual his jewelry was....then he would rub pieces on his lips.....just yuk!

I just purchased a silver piece on sale at the NY store. They claim they're moving but I'm not 100% convinced. Disappointed in all the made in China mystery metal junk.

I sincerely hope Robert will be returning to QVC early in the new year.

I like the Warhol line and earlier smooth and hammered sterling pieces I have from the RLM line. I won't part with my pieces for anything! It's great that Robert has a certain artistic awareness, and can point out that not only is it visually pleasing it is also nice to feel.

I have recently seen, and bought, RLM jewelry in the fashion jewelry departments of Macy's and Dillard's. Designs are more like the earlier pieces I purchased from QVC before the brass and Warhol designs which I, too, did not like.

I think things really changed after he had that surgery on his wrist(s). He was out of commission for quite a while. Probably the years of working with his hands took their toll on him.

I'm not sure we'll ever see his jewelry line return like the earlier pieces. I'm just glad I have so many of them. I loved his all silver items.

I also collected his pieces back in the day, however, was never a fan of his brass designs. I believe his days at QVC are over, at least as we knew them. If there is a pattern here, all I can say is another elite designer down the QVC black hole.
