It seems reasonable to me that they wouldn't, because they'd have to hold twice as much inventory, and the other large online home shopping vendors (eg HSN, Overstock, JTV) don't offer half sizes either.

What I find strange, though, is that QVC UK sells Diamonique rings in British sizes, which means the size range is bigger and includes what we would consider half sizes.

If they can do it for the UK market, why not here?

when they first started they did offer 1/2 sizes. I guess they would have to have way too much inventory now with the way they have grown over the years.

I don't know if the smaller sizes sell out faster and they don't stock enough of them, or if they just stock the most popular size(s). I have never seen a half size on JTV myself.

On another post someone recommended sarrafdotcom for gold jewelry so I went to take a look at their rings and they sell them (at least the ones I looked at) in sizes ranging from 3 to 16!!! They sell various types of gold (10K, 14K, 18K and white, yellow and rose) plus silver and platinum. I've bookmarked that site because there are several pieces I'd love to buy...some day.

I really wish 1/2 sizes were sold because that is exactly what I need - I'm so tired of having rings spin on me because they're a tad too large. However, as annoying as it is to me, I can understand why it's not done due to inventory and space....

Yes, esmeraldagooch - you are right about ring guards.

..probably because they would have to have too much inventory on hand. Also, QVC doesn't make it's own jewelry, the manufacturers they deal with would charge QVC more money if they had to make rings in half sizes.

I use these little things made of PVC called Ring Snuggies that I got from Walmart. A pack was $3.88 each last year. They're sold at the jewelry counter in a display box. I recommend you buy several packs and store them in a zip-top bag. They come in six different sizes and you can trim the length to fit your ring. I'm literally wearing one on my QVC Affinity ring right now. You can't really tell it's even on the ring when wearing it.

There's a slit on one side of the Snuggie. You open it up a little with your thumb nail and press the back of your ring in it.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ring-Snuggies-Ring-Adjusters/19512955
