Good morning and happy Sunday to us all!

It is the most delicious weather today - no humidity, lots of sunshine and no threat of rain.

I have been mainly absent for the past two weeks, since the shows. My family has been bombarded by stress on all fronts.

The end of an era for me, as DTGD was taken from me to attend nursery school without a single word from me that she wouldn't be here the next day and her mother picked her up from my home. All of us have had a hard time coming to terms with her not being here each day, none more than my son, and absorbing the callous way it was handled.

DS#2 is on a health decline and we cannot do anything about it.

DH may have had a heart attack. Saw a cardiologist last week and he goes for a stress test this Tuesday and we take it from there. He continues his normal activities.

I continue with allergic conjunctivitis, which is driving me more crazy than I am already. Allergist now want me to revisit eye doc. I'm going in circles and they can't figure out why my eyes don't clear up.

I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy tomorrow and Ill find off if there are additional surprises.

And then Joan Rivers' passing really hit me hard, as I'm sure it did many of us.

The treasures continue to pour in, and they are really lovely, but I haven't had time to truly explore them and write reviews. Maybe this week I'll make the time.

Hi Kappy, happy Sunday to you as well. I am sorry to hear about your stress. I will keep you in my prayers. I can understand how you feel about your DTGD .It's such a shame you weren't told about it. I have had a hard time adjusting to my twins going to pre-school and it's only for half a day. I hope the Ripka goodies will cheer you up . Hope your colonoscopy goes well and your eyes get better. Oh, Kappy,my heart breaks for you! Please just know that DTGD will have the best memories of her time spent with you, and Pop Pop for the rest of her life. Also, you have given her the best foundation a kid could ever hope for, on her first days of nursery school. I fear this is just the beginning of the ever popular "Power games" that a divorce always seems to produce.

My prayers and best thoughts go out to you and yours for good news on all accounts. Hang in there, baby!

I am so sorry that you don't have your DTGD to have around everyday. I hope communication improves with her mother for the sake of all involved especially your DTGD! On the bright side she gets to play and learn with children her own age. Still her mother should have informed you.

I hope your DH didn't have a heart attack. Maybe it was an anxiety attack do to stress? Poor man. I am no doctor, so I am glad he is going for a stress test and getting things done. As for you....My dear you have a lot on your plate with your health! Conjunctivitis is nasty business, I have had it myself. I wish you a speedy recovery with that and a big Good Luck on your colonoscopy tomorrow! I hope everything is well in that regards.

I did want to let you know that even though the large bail and the dragonfly pin are both beautiful. They did not work together well like I had hoped for. Bail was to large to work with the pin and the pin falls forward when you try to make it work as an enhancer alone.

I feel the pin will make a great hat or scarf pin...not just for a lapel.

Dear Kaplan, my heart goes out to you. ((many hugs)). If I were there in person I'd definitely give you a big hug. Such stress......I pray that communication will improve on that front for all involved.

I will pray for all of your family. Many things going on at the same time.

I know what you're saying about Joan's passing. What a shock for all of us. It was very heart warming to read all of the hosts posts on the Q and all from her fans.

I pray that you get good news from your colonoscopy.

Kaplan, was very sorry to hear of your stresses and especially with your DTGD & not being able to see her. It must be very difficult to bear that. Sorry about the health issues of DS#2 and your DH.
