TIMES HAVE CHANGED or Why I Don't Buy Ripka Anymore

I was browsing the Q and began reading a thread about a Ripka Key that was once a TSV and again being offered at the old TSV price. I clicked on it and off to the side of the description was another Ripka item that I have in my jewelry box.

Well I looked at the price and actually said out loud "That CAN'T be right!"

So I look up my old order history and this is what I found.

Item J5050 (JR Sterling Pave Heart Ring), ordered on 5/30/07 cost $37.96 + 4.47 s/h + 2.55 tax

Item J5050, IF ORDERED today 6/11/11 cost $72.00 + 5.22 s/h + ?? tax (figured when order processed).

Granted it was 4 years ago BUT just LOOK at the price difference!!!! $34.79!!!!!! (and that's not including sales tax!).

I am happy I got that ring when I did. I will keep enjoying it because I know I won't be buying any more.
