PASSAGE TO ISRAEL RING SHOPHQ's TTV

Ladies, if you like sterling check out the collection from Passport to Israel. Their TTV is a handmade sterling gemstone ring for $36.78 on 3 value pays. Their prices for handmade sterling is very reasonable especially compared to the prices here. I'm torn between what stone to pick for one of my sister's birthday gifts. I'd like your opinions. Thanks.

It's not my style but I know my sister would like it and I know there are ladies here who talk about the jewelry made in Israel, so that's why I posted it.

Hi luvtoshop, this jewelry as all jewelry from Israel has a lot of appeal to me. I love their fluid silver design. You know your sister so go ahead and pick a gem that she would love. IMO they are all beautiful! I just picked up the lapis! Happy shopping!

Theyre beautiful! but I am running out of fingers, lol. I have their garnet band ring with the Hamsa charm dangling from it and I love it. So beautiful and comfortable. Thanks for the heads up. I am going to look and not buy (yeah, like I havent said that before!).

I got the moonstone and the labradorite and will keep the one I like the best. Labradorite is a hit or miss stone, in that you can get a good one or a bad one. If you get a good one....it's beautiful!

I purchased the labradorite. I know what you mean about it being hit or miss. I'm going to give it a try or else back it goes!

It's funny because this ring isn't my style either but I was intrigued by it and the price was right so I'm giving it a try! I like the turquoise and lapis too...

Pretty design, but after reading the information, not worth the price. Turquoise is reconstituted - that's turquoise dust put in resin, their gemstone information says lapis is "always" dyed - not true, but theirs is - at least the stone shown on the page is solid blue, no veining or pyrite.

The kicker for me was "Setting Type - adhesive". To have a stone glued into a sterling setting is ridiculous - low level workmanship. To give ShopHQ credit, at least they are honest.

How much are they asking? Really. You don't much for under 50 dollars these days unless you get steel by design with crystals. It's a top value and they are aiming for the lowest price point.

When it comes to this line, don't expect to see major markdowns or generous VPs. So with that in mind, it's not bad pricewise.

I think the price reflects all of this.

I've been wanting a labradorite piece for some time and I really like the look of this ring (and the price is quite reasonable) so I'm going to give it a try. I hope the quality of the stone is good because yes, labradorite can be very hit or miss.

Hi labradorite admirers, I have one from this brand - bought it last year. It is one of those knuckle ring pieces. The stone is huge and absolutely gorgeous in color. It shimmers in different colors of the rainbow dependent upon how you hold it or how the light falls on it. It was close to $100 I believe (can't be absolutely sure) but was so worth it imo. Hope yours turns out to your expectations and more.

Beautiful designs-like to hear the vendor's stories/travel info. I love the moonstone for this ring. Great price & quality. I have the sterling spin ring from their last TTV.

True okiebug, for that reason I won't touch any jewelry with turq cabs that are compressed. It is not always "dust" but small pieces that are compressed and held together by resin. You can detect that immediately if you know anything about turq. This channel also featured jewelry from India not too long ago, and every turquoise cab (some of them huge) was also compressed. The hosts and vendor NOT ONCE mentioned this. I felt compelled to fire off an email. Not that I expect a reply, but it made me feel a little better, lol. A lot of customers will be duped into thinking they are getting natural pieces and not turq or coral that is compressed. The one saving grace is that it is printed in the product detail in very fine print. Is everyone going to read it? I do not think so. I am not as worried about dyed gems - many of them are.

I ordered the lapis, this TTV seems about half price of a similar ring. Had they given a 2nd piece discount in shipping, I would have ordered the pink opal also.

I hope you ladies that ordered, enjoy your ring. I ordered the moonstone for my sister. Sorry to say this but if this ring was on QVC, it would never be that price plus the value pays. QVC's silver is priced way too high. I'm thinking of ordering the cross bracelet, I'm going to take another look at the video.
