Absolute or Diamonique? Which is better in the long run???

In your experience if you have purchased both Diamonique and Absolute, which did you prefer and why???

I also have both, many are 20 years old. No deterioration from either line.

Like the others I have both and they're both lovely stones. I have owned some pieces for many years with no sign of clouding.

That is great to know. I love one of Victoria Wieck's pieces and I wasn't sure if the absolute was as good as Diamonique. Thanks girls.

I own both, and find they are equal. My question is: Both dull after awhile, even though I clean them. They seem to loose that brilliance you get went they first arrive. Do any of you have that problem? If not, what can I do to brighten them? Thx.

A friend of mine who owns real diamonds told me her jeweler recommended soaking her pieces for a few minutes in diluted Mr Clean then using a toothbrush if needed. I have always done that with my CZs and perhaps that's why they are still as sparkly as when I received them.

Soak them in regular white vinegar. Then use a soft toothbrush to clean and rinse with lukewarm water. They'll shine like new!

I have owned Diamonique, Absolute, Brilliante, Signity and Bella Luce for years. Love me some BLING! Victoria Wieck has always been one of my most famous ring designers in both CZ and gemstones. I usually use one of the jewelry cleaners that you can pick up at Wally World...makes mine look good. Several of the Q's designers have gone to Jewelry Television which sells Bella Luce...they have Jose Hess and Chelsea Taylor. Have also seen Charles Winston on there as well.

It's all the same material, but the cut may be different. If you were comparing a brilliant cut , same carat weight in either Absolute or Diamonique, Diamonique has a repair warranty, Absolute does not.

I have had many Diamonique and Absolute pieces for year and years. Both hold up very well...mine don't get dull but I keep them very clean. A jeweler once told me that's the difference (well, not the only difference of course) between CZ and diamonds--when a CZ gets dirty it looks really "dead," but a dirty diamond will still sparkle. I have gotten some Bella Luce from JTV that doesn't look good...some is okay...it seems they do earrings very well, but the rings I've received I've always returned because they somehow look fake to me. Don't know why this is but although the CZ from ShopHQ, QVC and HSN seems comparable...JTV's sometimes seems a couple steps down.

I purchased an Absolute tennis bracelet and also a pair of Absolute hoop earrings; both the bracelet and the earrings are beautiful. I think the Absolute is just as pretty, maybe more so, that the Diamonique.

I have a nice selection of both, sometimes Absolute has a piece that I haven't seen before and so its nice to have a choice. I like Victoria Weick pieces I just recently discovered JTV and I am very happy with my purchases they are as nice as any Absolute or Diamonique I have purchased. Good warranty if you choose to take it and its worth the small cost, I purchased a ring and within a week lost a stone because I took the warranty my ring was repaired all the other stones were checked it was cleaned and returned to me in perfect condition. The prices are really good on a lot of their jewelry not just cz's plus they have really low shipping on a lot and no tax.
