On ShopHQ right now. The sterling and black spinel necklace 139-149 is available in 3 lengths with a once only price of $48.31. I remember this was a former Top Value and the price was more than this once only price.

I just placed my order for the 16". I wanted this when it was the top value but decided to wait for a further markdown. Glad I did. The reviews are good too.

Just an FYI, JTV has some beautiful Black Spinel too, for very reasonable prices.

I bought a strand of black spinel beads from JTV. They were way, way cheaper than what appeared to be the same strand on ShopHQ. Unfortunately, after maybe 10 wearings, the spring ring clasp completely came off the strand of beads and the necklace fell off. Now I have little silver "wires" poking up where the spring ring clasp was.

I still need to take it to my local jeweler and see if a new clasp can be put on. I never put a pendant on the strand or anything so it wasn't being pulled, it just fell apart. If it can't be fixed, I may try another strand because maybe that one was a fluke. I loved it.
