HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT JEWELRY FROM SHOPHQ?

Anyone here familiar with Shophq? I don't get the channel it's on, but checked out the website and saw a couple SB Turquoise items that looked interesting.

Can anyone vouch for their quality .... and/or Customer Service?

I haven't, but I know a few people who have and they were happy with their purchases. Very nice things on ShopHQ.

Quality is good, but largely depends on which line the piece is from. Customer service is fair. I've purchased many pieces from them in the past.

I would have to say fair. I only bought a couple of pieces from Chuck Clemancy's line. The black spinel I bought is nothing special, but okay. I think Paul Deasy has some nice designs though, although some are priced quite high.

A warning, Shop HQ (if they are the same as when they were Shop NBC) sends the jewelry with tags attached. If you remove the tag, you can't get your money back. So, you can't really wear it for 30 days to see if you like it.

If you like something, give it a try.

I have purchased many nice pieces of jewelry from SHOPHQ. I have even returned a few items without the tags still on and have always received a refund.

Also, if you return an item your original S&H is not refunded. Nothing I've gotten recently has any tags attached that would prevent returns.

I purchased a ring several years back without knowing the tag policy you mentioned. The ring didn't fit so I removed the tag to try the ring on again, when it still didn't fit, I called CS to arrange a return and was told that wasn't going to happen with the tag removed. That was my one and only SHOPNBC experience.

ETA: I still have the ring, it still doesn't fit. lol

I've never gotten anything with tags on them, perhaps particular lines have them. I've gotten a few pieces from them, they weren't too expensive and never had a problem. My husband though bought an expensive piece for me years ago from them, Pariaba Tourmaline, diamonds and white gold, still looks good as new, it's pave and it's never lost a stone.

Every time I receive a ring from Micheal V there's a tag. I hate them. They're hard to remove. By the way, Michael will have a 27 carat citrine quartz TTV in July. Saw it on Facebook.

I don't think they are still using the tags on everything. Spinel is spinel and Chuck has been doing an excellent job exploiting its popularity. I thought it would be dead a year and a half ago and its still going strong. The key to ShopHQ for me is to watch the shows. They have really good sale prices quite soon after a piece is introduced, sometimes just months, not years later on a group of broken sizes. But the sale prices disappear immediately.

I bought a ring from there years ago, from a line they no longer carry, and it's one of my favorite rings. I wear it every day and it still looks great after years of wear. I like all of the jewelery I've purchased from there.

Yes, I have bought several pieces of jewelry over the years. First item I bought was a Tanzanite and Diamond Ring in 14kt white gold and it was beautiful, well made. The Tazanite has a good color, but I have certainly seen a lot better quality. Beyond that, I have ordered watches, and bracelets and other things. Just ordered a magnificent black spinel bracelet which I love and last night I ordered two sleeping beauty band rings. I would tell you that the quality is very good for the most part.

I've ordered some jewelry from them. Some things I've liked, some I haven't - nothing unusual in that. I didn't know that about the tag removal. Interesting. I guess that I didn't have any returns like that. Personally I think it is stupid though to have it like that since you can't really wear it with the tag on - at least not out of the house.

I do always make sure that if I have to return it that I leave enough time to get it back in their hands before the 30 days are up - they are not flexible about that time frame at all.

fJust last week I returned a ring with the tag taken off. I always take off the tag and have returned a lot of jewelry with no problem. Maybe they changed the rule?

Have bought from Paul Deasy, Chuck Clemency. I have bought some nice items. My caveat though is that I look at reviews, study pictures and video very closely before I buy.

Returned something once without issues.

I have bought from chuck clemency nycII line and paul deasy and have found them to be very well made and beautiful. I have never had to return anything and their shipping is very fast.

I shop more on HQ than I do on QVC, mostly jewelry from all three lines mentioned by other posters. The only issue I've had is with many pieces of the rose vermeil of Chuck Clemency's. Almost all of them have tarnished. Other than that, I've been very pleased with my jewelry purchases, and I've had no problems with returns of any items, clothing included.

I agree 110!. I have purchased more jewelry (and clothing) from ShopHQ than any other shopping channel or website or store period. I find their quality on most things to be superior and LOVE Paul Deasy's turquoise! I have returned things before with no problem and have gotten my credit in a very timely manner. The only negative thing I can say is the ShopHQ does not return your original shipping and handling. But then again, ShopHQ offers free shipping days all the time where EVERYTHING is free shipping........even their furniture!

I ordered two rings from their Israeli line - can't remember the name of the line. They are very nice. I have a feeling that all of the Israeli jewelry on all three channels is actually made in the same factory because, with the exception of Adi Paz, they all look alike.
