Wow. Just checked the lineup for tonight's show. I don't think even LR can move that collection of boring, stale, lightweight stuff. I didn't see any Oro Nuovo, but there wasn't a single item there that was exciting or anywhere even close to being worth the price. Guess I'll watch a Law & Order rerun while I ride my stationary bike.

Despite the resin filled... I think they've had some pretty items... Not like the gold shows of old, but better than the kitschy stuff often featured... I do think, though, that those double twist earring have more than had their fifteen minutes... I like them, but come on, they present them every time there's a gold show... I could've done with a few more rings too.

Check out J-291562 for $24.75 .... they are on wailtlist, but come in 3 colors and have good ratings. I ordered the silver / steel.

I caught some of the show when I got home, all I was thinking before I changed the channel was "Miss Lisa is selling her heart out!" It was hard sell all the way!

It's like when she has an hour of Denim & Co. She sells the heck out of the color and comfort. Can't do anything about fit and style, so she'll just stick with the color and comfort aspect.

The liquid knit will last longer than the oro nuovo. Liquid knit wears like iron! Doesn't fade, washes well - you can't kill it. And it's really comfortable. Oro Nuovo probably can't hold up as well. I've had a couple gold plated pieces where the gold wore off after only a few wearings. I would assume oro nuovo could wear off too. I won't buy anything that isn't gold through and through. It's a waste of money. I won't buy Liquid knit if it has any kind of embellishment on it like stones or sequins or beads. The basics are great go to pieces and you really get your money's worth. I have several pieces I've had for over four years and they still look brand new.

Each to their own, but I have several pieces of resin filled jewelry bought here before they decided to stick the fancy name on it and I've had no problems with it. I don't want a whole jewelry box of it, but not every piece I buy needs to be an 'investment' piece and so I've purchased and enjoyed a few of these pieces, which are actually very pretty and affordable and, well, aren't Bronzo...

I've liked a lot of the Oro Nuovo line and have really been tempted, but with my experience with plated pieces have been afraid to try it. So it really doesn't rub off? I've been waiting until it's been around awhile for reviews.

I totally agree with OP---I'm not into Byzantine---and I think Lisa is the only one that purchased those twisted earrings....since they appear to be STILL trying to get rid of them...the show was mostly the same styles/same stuff.

I did like some of the turquoise items -- but have seen better prices elsewhere....

How about some new designs from factories OTHER than Italy---they are NOT the only ones that make gold jewelry......maybe David M. needs to expand his options...
