Does anyone here own an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner?

I just ordered one from Sharper Image. I used WELC10 to get 10% off.

If you own one, do you use it regularly? Does it make your jewelry sparkle? What about sterling silver pieces?

Any tips you can share?

I use it when I need to. I've cleaned silver as well as gold. Everything comes out great.

I haven't used mine in years. I use to have a lot of gemstone jewelry (purchased from QVC) set in 14 K. When I used the ultrasonic cleaner, the gemstones and gold sparkled. I never put silver jewelry in it. I thought I read you were not suppose to.
