Judith Ripka Box Empty.....

Here I was so happy to be getting my last Ripka item from QVC today. I knew it was the gold clad Love enhancer.....

I tear open the package...open the box...open the clear baggie and......NOTHING!!!

I didn't get it! I looked all through the packaging.....Zilch!

I called QVC immediately! Guess what? (You all take too long guessing), They were busy on the lines because of PMS, but I got a real nice CS lady that said I would have my "replacement" next week. How can it be a "replacement" when I never received it in the first place? LOL!

Hopefully next week I will get it......UGH! Gotta wait another week!

How does someone pack a box with nothing in it and send it off to the customer? Do you think the packer stole it?

I don't want to speculate about stealing. It could have just been a packing error...misplaced? I'm sure QVC will figure it out when they do inventory.

The same thing happened to me several years ago with a JR necklace...nothing in the box! And it was not a package that appeared to have been disturbed so it had to occur in a warehouse...luckily QVC believes us and does send replacements.

These items sit in a warehouse in closed boxes. I'm sure they are not opened before they are shipped. I'm betting the error took place at the original factory, probably a line running too fast.

The same thing happened to me last week. I ordered the dew drop (single drop) necklace in the RG clad and I got an empty box. I was not sure if it happened at the Q or later down the mail line. The sticky glue on the envelope flap opened really easy Q is sending me out a replacement too

I sympathize with you. This isn't jewelry related - I expected a ballymoris bud vase to be delivered yesterday and knew I was in trouble when the outside of the box was labeled Luminara. I had to open the box to put the return label inside - they must have picked the ugliest candle in the warehouse to send me (lol). Customer service was slammed (Joan Rivers Good Hair Day presentation). The customer service rep was nice and ordered a replacement bud vase for me.

So sorry to hear that Me2Me. Glad you spoke to a nice CS rep who will send out new one. It happened to me once a couple of years ago and they sent me out my item the next week. Hope you get a beautiful enhancer once you get it!

I think it was an error. I highly doubt a packer would steal it. They pack items all day long.

I think QVC checks through customers' records, and if there aren't a lot of other "claims", they probably realize that someone forgot to put the item in the box at the wear house.

Sorry for you having to wait. I'd be annoyed too.

Yes, I do. I have always thought that.

I don't think the packer stole it for one second. They wouldn't have jobs as packers if they stole.

Yes, I do. I have always thought that.

A lot of the shipping process is automated. I doubt the robot took it.

I am having to think that this happened on the way here. I have everything sent to my office in a big bank of mailboxes. I sometimes get mail for other people in the building. I wonder if it ended up with someone else and they opened it and took the item. It's pretty strange. I had this happen with a swimsuit I purchased. It showed the item delivered but I never got it. I have had this happen with to other Q packages before too. The seal on the envelopes are not very strong. I am thinking about having my delivery address changed to my home but I hate stuff sitting in my mailbox and on my porch all day long.

Didn't happen at QVC but a couple of years ago my DH bought me a piece to a Lenox Nativity Scene that I have been collecting. When I went to open it we discovered the box was empty. Evidently the sales clerk sold him the box the display piece had been in. it was Macy's and yes they replaced it.
