Judith Ripka Watches Appreciate in Value!!!

There is a popular shopping site that the name starts with an A----n, that has Judith Ripka's watches that most of us have and love at a price of $585.00! Now I don't remember paying that much for any of my JR watches, but it is nice to know that they are worth that much on the market!

I am talking about the ceramic and the two-tone that had the pink, blue, and white faces! The older chronograph sells for over $600.00!

The shopping site shares their name with a very large river that runs through S. America!

Yes and that same vender also has some discounted JR items. I've often been tempted there but I usually just order titles for my Kindle.

They say their list price is $650.00 and they are selling most of them at $585.00. I have no idea how many they have sold. I believe they will prolly sell to those who never purchased these watches on QVC. They are still reasonably sold on the bay.

That's the way to go! Expanding your mind and educating your brain with reading is better. You can find some items at better prices on the bay.

I don't know for sure because I am no expert. I was shocked and amazed and pleasantly happy that two of the JR watches I own, I paid a lot less for on the Q!

Are timepieces different than jewelry for appreciation?

Check Ebay completed prices. That's your real indication of what these are currently worth.

They are still inexpensive fashion watches, they aren't fine jewelry and they don't appreciate in value. Rather some of her fans are willing to over pay for them. There is a difference. And you can say Amazon; the QVC police will not come knocking at your door.

Good advice. Just because someone lists items ""high"" doesn't mean they actually sell high. Nor does it make a lot of difference if uninformed buyers purchase a few at unusually high prices.

The seller does not indicate these watches were JR's QVC line. He/she probably thinks some naive shopper will think the watches are from her store line.
