This pic is from a jewelry website that was showcasing the ring that they had for sale. I bought the ring.

IT'S THE SAME HAND!! Isn't that neat? I guess I've bought enough jewelry to where I've moved on to buying jewelry displays. I bought the hand.

So...... how do you display your jewelry?

I actually know some women who have jewelry store display cases in their living rooms. I personally think it's kinda pretentious.

Really? They don't mind the "retail" ambiance? I suppose it's easier for the burglars. Smash and grab, etc.

I wouldn't go that far. I just want a hand on my kitchen hutch to put my rings on while I wash dishes, and a hand on my bathroom counter for when I'm bathing and putting on make up, and a hand for decoration in my bedroom. I really only display my jewelry on a shelf in my bedroom.

I can see it for that reason. Better than losing them setting your rings down on the counter or such.

I have quite a few black velvet jewelry display items (for earrings ,necklaces etc.) I got on ebay (like in jewelry stores). My favorite "hand" though is one DH scored for me at the flea market. Its a hand and forearm made out of metal that was used in a factory as a form for making rubber gloves. My favorite! Rings look great on it.

I "display" mine in a locked jewelry amoire. Too many of my pieces have "wandered away" never to return. If someone wants to see my jewelry, they can look at ME.

That's why they make ring holders.

I have little vintage ring cups and holders all over the house. I guess it helps, but I currently don't know where three of my rings are. Most of my rings are in three Collen Lopez boxes.

I have a couple that were in my late mother's things. They aren't at all creepy; one is translucent blue glass & the other is flesh-tone, hand painted ceramic. I keep the blue one in my bathroom to hold the rings, bracelets & watches that I wear most often. The other one, made by my late grandmother, is more fragile so I just keep it on a shelf in my bedroom.

Hi Lucy, I have a jewelers neck form and earring stand from a jewelers supply I keep out for use too. I wear one item (strand of pearls) and it sleeps on the neck form while I'm not wearing it. The silk stays nicer longer and the pearls don't knock into each other.
