I have both but I prefer oval. If I wear anything larger than 1 1/2" round, I get the dumbo effect.

Both.....but I wish they would make post-hoops. They are hard to find.....and my earlobes are as thin as dimes, so the ones with snap-bars slide forward on me.

I have mostly round 14KT/18KT hoops -- 1"" to 1-1/2"". Luv them!!!

Another one that has both shapes, but prefers the round in around 1 to 1 1/4" diameter.

I like oval, round can tend to make your face look fuller, and I dont need that.

I HATE that dumbo look where the hoops stick out. Ick! I loved the old line called perfect hoop, or something like that. The posts were bent in a way that allowed them to hang perfectly straight. Wish they would bring those back!
