Pandora Bracelet Lovers

To all you gals who are owners/lovers of the Pandora bracelet...do any of you have the Pandora bangle bracelet? If so, do you like it? Do the beads just move freely on it or do you need clips on it? I have 2 silver bracelets and 1 black leather cord bracelet and am thinking of the bangle for my Valentine's day gift from DH. Do you like this one as well as the original Pandora? Thanks...Reva

I got the bangle a couple of weeks ago while I was in Las Vegas. My intention with it is to put Murano Glass on it, so I got it larger than my three original bracelets. Yes, beads do move freely. It's thinner than the one you have, and probably will be more fragile. Having said that I think you would like it if you really like Pandora's, and it sounds like you're a fan like me. I haven't tried clips on it, but my first thought is that they would spin around, but might give it a try since I hadn't thought it. To me, it would be a lovely Valentine's gift. I told my DH I want glass beads for my bangle for Valentine's. Hope this helps.

I have the bangle bracelet. I have 3 beads on it but mine do not move. The girl at the Pandora store put little rubber discs under each of these beads which prevents movement. I love the bangle. I also wear 3 other regular Pandora bracelets and I would say the bangle is definitely more delicate, but I've not had any problems with mine.

Reva- I have 2 of the bangles- got my first last April and got the second one in Sept when Pandora had their free bracelet promo. I love them.. I have 6 different Pandora bracelets with charms so I do not put charms on the bangles. I wear a charm bracelet with both bangles and love the look.. they are not fragile at all (not that I'm rough on my jewelry) and well made.. I think you will love the bangle..the charms will move freely. let us know if you get one! tobi

Tobias - I never thought about wearing it as is with my charm bracelets but I bet it looks fabulous. If you have 6 different Pandoras, you are obviously a huge fan! Did you get a smaller size (tighter) with the bangle or the same size as your regular ones? If you could post a pic of how they look on your wrist together, I would love to see it! Thanks, Reva

I tried to buy these little rubber discs to use on my black leather bracelet. The clerk tried to sell me "clip" beads to station on either side of my existing beads. For one thing that would cost a fortune, and for another thing, I don't want more beads. Maybe I did not ask right.

Diamonds, are those discs called something "official"?

yes I am a huge fan- my bracelets are color themed (have red, blue, pink, green, purple, and yellow themed and I am going to begin and black and white one.) I have a tiny wrist... my charm bracelets are 7.5 to allow for the charms but I bought the small size in the bangle, knowing I would not be adding charms. I'm at work now so cant post a pic but i'll try later on..tobi

I got the bangle free with $100 purchase when it first came out. I like the dangle charms but think if you don't put some other charms in between the dangle charms on the bangle it does not look right. They do move around freely. I don't think I will fill up the bangle like I do the snake bracelet. I have a few of the little black rubber O-rings but the clerk at the store told me the they were only for clips? They will run a promo March 20-23 next month & you can get a free bracelet with $100 purchase. Pandora is coming out with a new bangle that has a pave heart clasp instead of the spherical silver Pandora clasp.

Not Diamonds but Pandora calls them black c-shaped rubber inserts for clips or that's what the clerk here told me. She said not all stores will have them.

They also make stopper beads that already have a silicone insert in them or they also sell silicone o'rings which are put in between charms on your bracelet which I think would look tacky. These are not made by Pandora. I don't know why Pandora does not make some stopper beads with the silicone insert to use on their bracelets.

I really like my bangle, much easier for me to clasp and I like the jingle. It doesn't seem delicate and it doesn't stretch like the other ones.

I was a little worried to hear they are delicate (maybe a bit on the thin side?) so it's good to hear everyone's opinion. I would hate to buy something that's going to dent or bend easily. Reva

Pandora also has a new bracelet design, called the essence collection.

I just have one pandora, the original clasp bracelet.

They are flexible but they are not thin or delicate. Wait & get it free with $100 purchase next month during their promo. That way you can spend your money on charms.

Never had a Pandora bracelet, but just stared looking at them. Can you tell me about the clips? Do you only need 1 set or do you have to buy a pair to place on the sides of every bead? Did you go up a size in your bracelets?

I like the Essence Collection but they don't sell it here. I would have to order it online or drive a 3 hr round trip to buy it. Hate to order something online that I have not seen.

The clips go on the threaded areas of the snake bracelet. See pic below. That makes it where you actually have 3 different sections to put your charms. You don't have to put clips in between each charm. They also make spacers if you want something in between every so many charms. As far as sizing goes I just went to the jewelry store & tried them on. You don't want it tight where you don't have room to add your charms but you don't want it too loose where it could fall off.
