    <description>&lt;P&gt;Spoke to HQ 1 800-296-2931 for Q and ran the long returns by, along with another problem with a gold chain and this lady told me that my post office had given me incorrect information about packages going to Canada! &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I'm sorry for repeating the wrong info!       <title>Delays in Return Processing?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent some things back to the Q on January 18th using the Q return label, and there is no sign that the Q has processed my return.  I know they're dealing with holiday returns and so it will take a bit longer, and then there were weather issues, but I would have thought it would be done by now.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Is anyone getting their returns processed quickly right now, or is everyone else delayed too?  I'm getting a little concerned.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think it's that ""smart post"" feature that causes the delays.  I sent my returns back via FedEx and they were credited the day after the package was delivered.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent 2 items back myself (not with their label)- about 10 days ago and not a sign of the return being processed yet! Mine were holiday returns - they needed to be received by the 31st. Hopefully there won't be an issue with getting it processed!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Q is even slower than usual right now- I sent 2 hsn returns back a day or 2 later (again, without their label) and they've already been credited!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the replies.  My hsn returns have been processed quickly.  I know the Q usually takes a bit longer, but I was started to get concerned about how long it's been.  It is longer than usual.  I also know that if you contact Q's customer service too soon about it, they'll just tell you to wait a bit longer and then get back to them if it doesn't happen.  I don't think I've ever had a return not be processed at the Q, or at least not that I can recall.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OMG, I am so glad I found this thread.  I returned a tennis bracelet on Jan. 23, and the delivery date was supposed to be Jan. 25.  I paid for first class postage, I did not use the QVC return label.  I never insure anything and I did not purchase tracking because I thought my label number from the machine was tracking.  WRONG.  I had been checking QVC every day, twice a day.  I was frantic because I thought my package had been lost/stolen and I had no proof.  However, after reading this thread, I checked one more time and my return was processed today.  Thank goodness I can breathe again.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;It did seem like this return took much longer than they usually do.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I returned an item on January 22nd and one on January 23rd but, as of today, have not received my refund.  I have been checking on line with the post office but the QVC tracking number doesn't give updates as to where the package is located.  I started to get worried until I saw that others were experiencing the same situation.  I didn't know if the problem was slow processing at my local post office or if it was on QVC's end.  I'll sit tight and wait another week until I contact Customer Service.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I sent back some returns on the &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;26th&lt;/SPAN&gt; of &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;December&lt;/SPAN&gt; that did not get processed until the &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;28th&lt;/SPAN&gt; of &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;January&lt;/SPAN&gt;.  I &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;used my own money&lt;/SPAN&gt; to pay for return postage.  I read somewhere on another thread that the QVC merchandise returns processed by UPS Mail Innovations are not delivered directly to QVC.  Instead, they are delivered to the nearest post and QVC has to pick them up.  They are scanned as delivered when they are loaded on the truck.  Even if that is the case, there still should not have been such a delay in delivery of the parcel that I paid for with my own money. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;It  it seems likely that QVC delayed going to pick up returns for a period of time until they had processed whatever was at the returns center.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;On the other hand, I returned two Linea whisper knit sweaters the day after I received them last week, using Priority Mail.  They were delivered on the 30th and have not been processed yet.  QVC is just unacceptably slow in processing returns.  I've never  had such delays with any other retailer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>QVC returns is just like medical insurance claims. They drag their feet as long as possible so they can hang onto the money as long as possible. I sent insurance claims on the same date and they havent even recorded them as received.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't understand either.  On 1/22 I took a regular return to our post office and used Q packing slip.  I've been checking the return status and nothing was noted.  Then Q's status showed the date it was taken to the post office.  Four days later that information disappeared.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;So I called CS to ask why did the status disappear.  She couldn't figure it out either and immediately issued a refund.  I got an email that the full refund was processing and am awaiting it to be credited to my AE credit card.  She didn't deduct the S/H charges either???&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;So today I figured I would check the return status again, and it shows that it was logged in at my post office on 1/22 and on 2/5 was processed at some warehouse in Mountville, PA and is in transit.  There is no documentation of the credit CS gave me.  So I might get credited twice and have to deal with that mess when the issue arises.  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I know they must be really busy with returns, but this has to be the oddest way to deal with returns I have ever seen.  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
