Wow - just heard the TSV will be a hinged cuff with either lapis, mop or turq on each end - that sounds fab - hope there is a small size -

Hey ladies - are you all still alive out there? Missing the "porch talk" - although kind of cold for that I guess - LOL - anyone bought anything new lately?

Hi CL! It does come in small, medium and large from what I read on the other thread. Thanks for posting, and I miss you and everybody too! I have been good, but had a really nice Christmas . . received some oldies but goodies! How about you . . anything new lately?

Are those stones doublets? With crystals on top? I love that glowing look.

This is great! It has been way too quiet on the porch. This gives us something to talk about. I do love this cuff and it looks like a complement to the signature collection. Hard for me to decide which one I like best! And Ali is right. I am sure there will be lots more temptation come February!

Ali, Have you gotten any new CP? Maybe you can post a pic. I so enjoy looking at all your necklace collection pictures. It gives me ideas! I should really do a CP album sort of as a catalog with all the pieces I have. I often wonder if CP has kept one of every piece she has done? Wouldnt that be a lovely display!

Helooooooooooooo sistas! Just spoke with Weeg, and we're getting so excited for February! She wanted to tell me what the TSV was, but I told her the cat's already outta the bag lol. It's fun seeing everyone on the porch again! I'm going through withdrawal as far as my SW and N.A. stuff is concerned . . I miss the old days, but it's still nice to chat about the new CP.

Hi never! How are you my friend?! Aren't you kind to say that... and, yes, you should definitely try to catalog your collections, and I'll tell you why. lol It's fun to look at, but more than anything, it's so helpful when you're trying to pick out an ensemble to wear. You can just browse your photos and choose some pretties. But you probably already have everything nice and organized in your jewelry box. I'm a mess as far as storage is concerned... hence the photo catalog!

Since I have such bad luck embedding photos (they're huge for some reason and I can't shrink them!)... I will post links in a separate reply.

Alex (hi A!!!) has told me that they do keep a photo file of all of their pieces, as well as one actual stock piece of each design. Juggie and I were saying recently how we'd like to get our hands on the key to that room!

Ali, I wish I was more organized. I have one of those standing jewelry boxes but it is overflowing so then I started putting collection pieces in plastic bags with the tarnish paper and store them in decorative boxes. Then I am digging around for the pieces I want and that kind of keeps me from being creative and putting different pieces together. I need to think what I can do that would work better. Any ideas out there? Oh and I would like to join you and Jug and get into that CP room!

Never - You just cracked me up because that is exactly how I store my pieces too! I keep them in their little plastic baggies with the anti-tarnish paper, in giant plastic storage bins (I'm going to throw my back out one day lifting these things... not the ideal method). Hey at least you have decorative boxes! My bins are hideous and major eye sores. But I haven't come up with a better idea yet to have everything stored together. I separate the bins by earrings, necklaces, enhancers, bracelets, rings, etc. and that's pretty much it for my organizing prowess. I also have to dig to find things, which is why I started the photo album. It has really helped me to find, coordinate, and even remember things I have! I could use some organizing help too... it's not my strong suit, that's fo sho!

When CP asked us what we want to see - one thing I have wanted for several years is a coffee table book - like Judith Ripka did - showing all the collections from years ago - when she started doing the collections - it would mean a lot to those of us that have large collections so we know what all the pieces are in each particular set - also would like to see the romance card showing what is in the collection - they used to do that and then it stopped - also would like to know where each gem comes from (what Country) - that is really important to me - where it is mined - that's one of the things I like about Jay King - even though I don't really collect his pieces I love watching him because he always tells about where the stones are mined.

So what do you all think? Wouldn't you like to see a book showing all the collections from the past and as we go forward - maybe we could have pages inserted or something??

I still LOVE Carolyn's jewelry, even after all these years...when I wear a piece of hers, I just feel great.

Isn't it wonderful too that it's designed and made i the USA! I feel that there are no bad metals in her jewelry.

It's so nice to see everyone again.

Cooking lady I love your idea of a coffee table book. In the beginning I never paid attention to the names of the collections, now I write them down on the little card that is enclosed and keep it in with the piece.

Ali at least you have bins you keep your collections in. I, like so many I just keep them in the box and bag with the little tarnish square. I have run out of room. I have three jewelry boxes but they are over flowing and they really don't hold the statement necklaces we need something flat to put those in. Being married I don't exactly want my husband to know how much I have so tucking things in drawers is where I'm at. Some times it pays to be single. LOL.

So happy to see you all back on the porch.

Thanks Stony - glad to hear from you - the problem is - I have some older collections - don't even know what goes with what - picked up a piece here and there - trying to organize - would love to put it all together - like you and others - I keep them in the plastic with the anti-tarnish squares but they are all over the place - really would love a book so we can look it all up -

Like you I'm kind of ""matchy-matchy"" - It's not a bad thing =LOL!!
