I hope someone from Ripka's company reads this, because I think we need a redesign...It's so sad because, with the exception of one leverback style of hers, I cannot wear her earrings. The omega backs KILL my ears after a couple of hours, and often the post is at the very top of the earring, which usually makes them hang droopily. If they were dropped a bit, or even on her studs properly centered, that would look good. All of this...the back, the post positioning, are exacerbated for me by the weight of the earrings....this is one piece of jewelry where I DON'T want very much weight. Maybe the omega backs wouldn't hurt so much if the front part of the earring weren't weighing my whole lobe down. And FYI my piercings are normal and in a good position on my lobe....it really is just the JR earrings that I have trouble with for the most part. Is it just me? Bringing this up because someone gave me a lovely pair of her earrings for Xmas, and yep, they suffered from all these same problems.....I dont have the heart to tell the gift giver I will likely never wear them....I would love a basic petite huggie hoop from her line, with the post dropped to the proper position.
