Hi, I have a Jai bracelet that broke at the clasp. I know there was someone in the forum that addressed this quite a while ago. If u read this could u tell me how to reach Jai or an address to send the bracelet for repair. Thank you

@Rose429. I remember someone here having the same problem. As I recall she had no luck whatsoever getting any response or cooperation from the company. They have a website where you can inquire.

I'd take it to a local jewelry to determine if it can be repaired and get an estimate.

My suggestion would be to not wear your Jai bracelets at night. The wear they get with twisting in one's sleep has ruined many a bracelet.

@Kachina624 I never thought about not wearing my bracelet at night. It fell off my wrist when I got up this morning. Guess I was being lazy and wasn't taking it off. Thanks for the advice, it makes sense.

Good idea to never wear any jewelry at night.

Not good to add to the wear and tear of any jewelry pieces.

I have had five bracelets. . .four have broken. I am not hard on my stuff; but I do wear it and it was understood it was to be "worn". . . I contacted Scott Grimes when he was still the rep. . . he was so kind. It is an option to send it in for repair; however it is overseas.

The problem as I see it is the design of the little wire that allows the ends to swivel. Which at the time I loved the idea. . .just like my lead ropes for my horse. Bingo . .great idea.

However, the wire wears and then.. . there you are

The new line of Scott's. . is not desgined this way and he said there have been problems. .thus he has addressed it in his beautiful new items.

I think I will purchase his now. .I feel better about them.

I loved Jill as the rep now. . JAI. . needs to fix that.

I have had my Jai bracelet for probably 7 years. Shortly after I got it the clasp broke. Fortunately it fell off in my kitchen. I took it to a jeweler and she soldered the swivel to be stationary. I've been wearing the bracelet non-stop ever since. Have never taken it off. I never could see the point of that swivel clasp. The fact that they have never changed that design has prevented me from any other bracelets.

@ellaphant . Jill is the one who says she wears hers all the time. In bed and in the shower. That is what I was doing but now I will take them off before bed and disregard Jill's advice.

I have had luck contacting the jewelry site itself. I have done this a while back with some Kirk's Folly pieces. I mailed them to the company, as directed by someone there , they were fixed and sent back!! I looked and JaimJewelry has an instagram site . Maybe contact them there how to fix.
