MY LITTLE CHRISTMAS GIFT

I really like the simplicity of this silver 925 bracelet. In the center you will notice a few baby diamonds all around which is a nice touch. I have a 6 inch wrist, it is a little loose. I could have one taken off but doubt it is necessary from a jeweler.

My question for the jewelry experts is this a Cuban or curb link bracelet? The clasp is very strong. It has good solid weight as well.

Cuban link although it's common to see those terms mixed up between the chains.

Curb chain isn't as chunky and has more space between the links.

@SportyShorty07 Thank you, I like it too. I always encourage women and men to purchase a two tone watch for the simple reason that is goes with everything, duh, (another topic) A basic and so one cannot go wrong no matter what. I only own one good watch with a big dial 36 inches and only use it for going out in evenings or daytime events. So this gift is perfect with this bracelet which was unexpected.

Thank you @SportyShorty07 I love it too, Best investment ever so happy one piece would be a good watch. (No matter where or what town you just go into a Rolex certified stored and they will blast it clean and sparkly! Ready in 30 minutes. Have lunch. lol.

I don't think I put the picture right. I wanted to show you on my small wrist how big a 36 mm dial is on a 6 inch wrist. It is huge! I might try again but dont want to push it here.

I will give you a hint. Same here.A certain past President was thin and he wore a Rolex in 36. I try again, lol.

@Pink123 Rolex watches are great investments- you are a smart and stylish shopper! That's great that the Rolex dealers worldwide can clean and polish watches while you go out to lunch or run errands. Wow, a 6 inch wrist is petite 🙂! Did you have some links removed from the Rolex to fit? I love trivia. I'll think about which thin president rocked a 36mm Rolex. I'll use google to try to figure it out 😅.

I too enjoy mixing metals and wear a two tone Raymond Weil watch (when not wearing my Apple Watch). Definitely less expensive than a Rolex, but well made Swiss movement and goes with anything. I often wear a Yurman two tone bracelet and often mix white and yellow gold. Having choices is nice.

This is a very old movie: 9 1/2 weeks. Mickey Rourke's character gave Kim Basinger a gold watch in one of the scenes. I did some digging and I believe it is a Cartier Santos, a small, petite version. I would love to know if that is the Santos.

Hi @foxywoods Guess what? My late hubby owned a silver Cartier Santos and he loved it which looked good on his wrist. He was I would say a medium framed man, thin man in body, 5'10"'

For myself on the other hand I enjoy a more robust wider band like my Rolex rather than it's similar Cartier style to Santos the Rolex, so close in style I forgot the name of the smaller version Rolex like Santos name. A bit bolder but only one or 2 pieces at best in jewelry do I wear.

I am a mininalist and a few statement pieces are just fine for me.I wore the Cuban link today and I feel it it is a bit too large as it comes down almost to my lower wrist into my hand. I could push it off if I pulled enough on it. I might have a jeweler take one of the links off or two even and so I will see

and let him decide. Other than this is perfect. And yes it is in right now big time.

My dream is simple Carter rectangle roman numeral with leather strap, white face. I forgot the name darn! A classic cartier. I'm losing it, haha.! We all know it by sight.

@foxywoods @Pink123 That Cartier Santos watch is gorgeous and I think it is the one from 9 1/2 Weeks! I've watched that movie at least 10 times, and I recognize that watch 😁. Fun fact: remember the nice metal hangers in Mickey Rourke's closet in 9 1/2 Weeks? I threw away all of my hangers and replaced them with ones that look exactly like them- they even make the same metal clinking sound! I think of 9 1/2 Weeks whenever I pick out an outfit from my closet 😅.
