Any JTV Shoppers?

If yoy shop on JTV, you might want to think twice. They are having a gemstone sale this week. I had my eye on a ring and Mon - Thur, the price was $249.00.
Today, I made up my mind to purchase and when I pull it up to order, the price says "Gem Week Deal" $268.00.
What does that tell you about their so called " deals"?
I do realize prices are constantly subject to change, but, you don't increase the price and call it a "deal". Isn't it supposed to be the other wsy around?

Keep checking on it, most likely it will go down again. Or they will have a coupon. They just raised their shipping from 4 to 5.

I think they are struggling. I was a happy customer for many years but they are not the same anymore. I buy most of my jewelry from Shoplc and Shophq. Jtv can't compete with either of them now. As for prices, like Shoplc they have special prices that are only good for that show. You can see something for a special but at the end of that show, it goes back to a higher price. As for words like deal and bargain. That's just sales talk. It's not a guarantee of anything.

I used to buy many pieces from JTV. Around the holidays, they usually have some great deals. However, I haven't watched or bought anything in a couple years.

I buy most all my jewelry from JTV---and have gotten a few dogs that I sent back --but for the most part, it all has been just fine. I don't buy the most expensive things-- altho I did buy my DD a gold, champagne diamond and grape garnet necklace for a few hundred $$ that is exquisite as well as a golden pearl pendant and matching earrings for me, for about the same price that marked special events in our lives. But am not one to spend thousands of dollars on any one thing. And yes, you have to watch for the deals. I've been notified about price drops on some things I was looking at on occasion.

I have several pieces from JTV and have been happy with all of them. Be sure to read the reviews before buying. What I really like is that the website gives a really clear description of the products.

@Sapphiregal JTV is very clear about having a special that is only for the presentation time (like a one or two hour show) and if you don't buy it then, it's on a different kind of "deal" and the price will change. I don't have a problem with that as they clearly tell you when there is a special price. If you don't buy it them, it's not their problem.

And yes, they do call things different deals when they change prices.

I am slowly down on jewelry buying but I have both Diamonique and Bella Luce.....no comparison. Bella Luce is far superior as far as realism goes in my opinion. Some of their other jewelry items look to be pretty well priced as opposed to "The Q." I get a kick out of JTV calling themselves "The J" now!

I think you missed my point.

It's not a special if they RAISE the price on something to more than it has ever been and call it a Gem Day Deal.They make it sound like "Wow, we're giving you our best price on this"! However, for months, the ring has been $249.00 . So, now they feature it for gem week and raise the price to $268.00.

Also, for those one or two hour shows where they are offering special deals just for that show, of course the price is dropped for just that short period of time and then goes back up. I get that.

I shopped at JTV many years ago but was always disappointed in the quality. I haven't looked at their shows or online for a looooooong time.

JTV Bella is far superior to Diamonique, have ypu checked out the Vanna K line on JTV ? Bella Tanzi color stones are gorgeous. And so are the Morganite ones.

I bought a Peridot set of earring and a necklace that was very pretty, then I ordered a blue sapphire ring and it looked like it came out of a bubble gum machine. Haven't ordered since.

I've long stopped buying from them. Tired of the same silver jewelry. They're gold is not that much and most of it is 10K. The Bella Luce is nice, but lately their designs are dull. I buy gold from ShopHQ.They have the 18K I want. As i'm tired of 14K. That's all I buy from them. Have long stopped looking at JTV. Once in a blue moon I buy from Gem Shopping. They have the gold and platinum I crave. I just can't stomach silver anymore.

If anyone is on Instagram I have seen Robert Manse advertise a few pieces that will be on JTV. I wonder if he sells on multiple shopping sites. I know he used to sell on HSN before QVC.

Many of those are "As Is" and clearance. Robert Manse's last three new items on QVC were on June 26, 2024. He didn't have anything new for the July Gem Day. He appeared on QVC2 via Skype on Tuesday with some clearance with Mary Beth Roe, which was likely his last QVC appearaance, and then debuted on JTV on Wednesday via Skype.
