I need to take it my diamond engagement ring to have the setting sized. It's a substantial diamont ct weight at 3.2 and my husband is paranoid about having to take it in and having the store keep it overnight for repair. Is there a way you can somehow 'safeguard' the ring while at the store so you ensure someone doens't swap it out for a fake diamond or something like that? It wasn't even a thought that crossed my mind, but due to it's value, my husband raised a good point. Thoughts? Suggestions? TIA, Gloria
