VAN CLEEF AND ARPELS CLOVER

I had heard of this lady who sells some beautiful, high quality dupes. I alway wanted a white mother of pearl "Van Cleef and Arpel" clover 36 inch long swingy necklace with gold. It's swingy alright.

It sells for around $15,000 at the store.

So yesterday I bought it. It was $200.00. I put it under fashion because I think it deserves it. I just love long necklace's.

The mother of pearl is hard to see on my pictures.

Everybody and their uncle makes knock-off copies of this famous and iconic design.

Effy has the design in gold and real gemstones--others use cheap metals and fake stones--Amazon has over 1000 listings!

We now have a Van Cleef & Arpels store in the King of Prussia mall.

I really like the name of the design--Alhambra, which reminds me so much of the beautiful palace in Spain.

@Pink123. You don't need to get smart. There's a good reason the board has standards.

A week from now when someone remembers your necklace and tries to find it, it'll be a long and possibly futile search as she looks through "jewelry" where it should logically be.

This has happened to me numerous times; when it happens to you, you'll understand. Nobody remembers who posts such things or where, they just look where it SHOULD be.

Thank you @kindred cats! I wore it today and I love it.

It will look good with a simple tee, anyrhing. I wore it today with a white short sleeve tee short on the tighter side I must say with waitst high skinny faded blue jeans. It made the outfit.

I have a Ralph Lauren which is at least 20 years old and has never tarnished, but it is a topaz in color.

And every once in a while a newswoman on a nightly show I watch wears one, also.

Gorgeous! My BFF and I were at Van Cleef's in Paris over the summer..... pretty sure the necklace is more than 15K ...she went for the bracelet. I was just an onlooker !
