topic Diamonique® Repair, QVC Rocks in Jewelry

This is kind of long but QVC deserves Kudos today. I had an old sterling Diamonique ring that lost a stone. I was lucky enough to find the stone in my home but the since the ring was so old I didn't want to take it downtown and pay for a repair. Enter QVC Community where I read that QVC repairs Diamonique for free. I called CS to start the process and was told I needed the item number for warranty repair. QVC's records go back further than the ones I can access on my computer and the rep finally found one we thought matched my ring, J99594. CS sent me the paperwork for the repair within a week, I filled it out and of course made a copy before I packed it up, insured it and mailed it off. A week after I mailed everything imagine my surprise when I needed to use my printer and saw not only the oringinal paper work but the copy I made. I had mailed it off without the necessary paperwork. I called QVC and explained what I had done and they said they would send a note to the repair section. I figured that's it...ring is history..there was nothing in the package except the ring and the stone, no return address, nothing. Yesterday a package arrived with my repaired ring all shiny and new. Inside was a handwritten note with my name account number and home address. Plus the correct item number J17738..that goes way back. We had it wrong but they fixed it anyway. Thanks QVC!!!!!

@m2p I agree. I have a sterling eternity band in Diamonique. I had purchased it 12 years ago. It lost one stone. I called CS and they found the invoice as I no longer had it. I sent the ring in and in 8 weeks it came back repaired. That is pretty cool!👍🙂

I wonder why it's so difficult for some of us to receive service, and for some of us so easy?

I have TWO 14k gold rings, found the item numbers for both, have had many VERY PLEASANT contacts with customer service, and still no repair.

A "lifetime" guarantee? Whose lifetime? To the best of my knowledge, I AM still alive........

I have the 14k gold Diamonique eternity band and they finish wore off. There must have been a protective coating applied over the gold, or something? Regardless, the ring looked horrible and I could no longer wear it. I bought the ring about 12 years ago, but after the finish was ruined, I had just put it in my jewelry box for a couple of years.

Anyway, a year or so ago, I took a chance and called Customer Service and explained the situation. Luckily she was able to pull up that order, though I could no longer see it listed under my account (they've purged many of my old orders). She had me send the ring in, and they REPLACED the ring with a new one since they STILL sell that ring. The price they sell it for now is a lot higher than when I bought it. I was surprised and pleased with how they handled the situation. They stood behind their product.

Bravo, QVC...bravo!

If either one of those weren't the case, I doubt there'd be anything would/could have been done.
