New purchase

I just bought this from JTV---it's sleeping beauty turquoise and I am more a fan of the turquoise with matrix in it ,as well as the green turquiose, this was at a really good price and had good reviews and a good amount of it in this ring too. I like that it is simple not screaming Southwest style altho I do love SW style.

UPDATE---I did get this ring a few days ago and it is really a winner--looks like a wedding set. the stone is clear and blue and is a good size but I really like I can wear them together or separate----will keep it.

@wagirl How lovely! I love SW style too. Enjoy❤️ wearing that ring! Looks like a nice strong silver setting.

I have a lot of SW style in my jewelry case that I bought over 20 years ago. I just do not wear much jewelry anymore now retired and rarely getting all dressed up to go out.

I am sure we would have fun sharing our jewelry treasures if we ever got together. 🙂

@SeaMaiden ---no, I don't get dressed up much either but I still will wear earrings--I have a ton of jewelry too, and have decided to wear it even tho I am home mostly especially with this stupid formerly broken ankle---well the bones are healed now, but still walk-limping--

I have a large turquoise collection but am not a fan of Sleeping Beauty and don't have a single piece with it. To me, it's the matrix that gives A stone character and enhances its beauty.

I can, however, understand why those who don't live in "Southwest" territory might just want a ring with a pretty blue stone and your ring serves that purpose well.

@wagirl I do wear earrings when I go out, actually the only jewelry I feel I need to wear...... and occationally a necklace...

Aren't you and I the picture of health... you healing from a broken ankle... me from a dislocated shoulder... LOL

@wagirl That is so beautiful....I love SB turquoise. Years ago another shopping channel had Persian Sleeping Turquoise set in gold ( 18K). It was so special and so were the prices.. I did buy a SB beautiful butterfly on an 18k gold chain from the collection and wish I had bought more as it is not easily accessible today. It is a cherished piece. Enjoy your lovely ring!

@Kachina624 I too enjoy turquoise with matrix and especially a couple of the native designers that have been on the Q in the past. I'll bet your collection is amazing!

@Kachina624 Isn't it wonderful that small gestures/items can bring us such joy. I understand your putting on your jewelry even if it is just for yourself. I have a small pair of gold earrings that are in the shape of a phoenix and it makes me happy just to wear them. Enjoy and wear your treasures in good health!

@wagirl What a pretty ring! I love Sleeping Beauty turquoise mostly for the lovely shade of blue. Over the years, like most of the posters here, I have amassed quite a collection. It seems a shame not to wear it--so I do! After my husband passed away in December, I gave some of my "gala"-style jewelry to my daughter, but still have more than enough everyday stuff to wear--so I do!

Thank you,wagirl, for your kind sentiments. My husband suffered a massive stroke 9 days before Christmas. He died instantly. I am inconsolable.

@Tique thank you for your kind expression of sympathy. Struggling to fill out all those awful forms to collect my late husband's insurance and IRAs is frustrating and maddening. I'm trying to move forward, but it is hard. He was deeply loved.
